Warm and charming villa located below Cortona

Come and experience Cortona and Villetta San Marco, ready to welcome 6 guests in its 3 bedrooms and one bathroom.

The villa sits nearly exposed, and the tall walls feel like they touch the sky as you lie back on a sun lounger by the pool.

It is beautiful to sit sheltered under the covered area, but when the sun begins to set, step out and witness how the villa becomes wrapped in the colors of the sky. It’s an incredibly stunning and unique experience—one that I personally never tire of.

During the day, the villa stands elegantly with its raw stone façade, and I’m a little in love with the green shutters that frame the windows and doors. They add warmth, soul, and life to the house.

In addition to the covered terrace, Villetta San Marco is also equipped with a lawn for play, a pool for splashing, all surrounded by trees and bushes. The living hedges create a natural frame for the view of the mountains and the Tuscan landscape. The owners have clearly thought about how to spoil and inspire us—both from the garden and from the windows inside the house.

Once you're done exploring the outside and can forgive the grass peeking through the stones and tiles, let’s step inside.

Here you’ll find a two-level villa consisting of a living room with sofas, TV, dining area, and kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, stove, fridge with freezer, and dishwasher. In addition to the living space, there are 3 bedrooms—one with a double bed and two with twin beds. The villa also features one bathroom with a shower.

If you’re looking to explore nature, towns, and wine, then the Cortona area is just right. The nearest towns are Camucia and Cortona, both offering restaurants, supermarkets, and local markets.

Dreaming of an active holiday or hoping to be closer to the sea? Lake Trasimeno is just a short drive away. Here, you can hike, rent bikes, sail to the islands, or swim at one of the lakeside beaches. There are also many charming small towns with restaurants where you can dine while enjoying the local atmosphere.
