The Villa's Outdoor Areas

Villa Sassicaia is surrounded by a beautiful, lush garden of approximately 3,000 m², filled with olive trees and peaceful shaded corners that invite you to relax.

Personally, I love walking among the olive trees, studying them and imagining how old they can become and how much they give back to us. If you get too warm after exploring the olive grove, simply make your way to the pool area. It is the perfect place for a refreshing swim, followed by relaxing on the sun loungers while enjoying the warm sunshine, the surrounding landscape and the peaceful atmosphere of the villa.

The large lawn offers plenty of space for children to play, enjoy a game of football or take part in other outdoor activities.

Adjacent to the villa, you will find the covered terrace, where you can gather together for meals while admiring the garden and the open countryside. Light curtains can be drawn when needed, providing shade if the sun becomes too strong during lunch or dinner.

The spacious terrace also features a small sofa area, perfect for relaxing with a refreshing drink, a good book or simply sharing stories about the many experiences waiting to be enjoyed during your stay.

The Villa Interior

Welcome to Villa Sassicaia, a 250 m² villa offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the heart of the picturesque Maremma region.

The villa is bright and beautifully furnished, with charming details throughout – from the small bedside tables and elegant sofas to the well-equipped kitchen with dining area. Everything has been designed with respect for the surrounding area while ensuring comfort for every guest, whether you are relaxing with a book on the sofa, preparing a meal in the kitchen or enjoying a peaceful night in one of the four bedrooms.

The authentic Tuscan character can also be found in the exposed wooden beams in the living room, where the fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere all year round.

On the ground floor, in addition to the charming living room, you will find a dining room designed for both relaxation and togetherness. The fully equipped kitchen is ready for you to return from the local market with fresh ingredients and regional specialities, ready to prepare your own Tuscan meals.

The ground floor also offers two double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and beautiful views of the garden.

The first floor features another double bedroom, as well as a bedroom with three single beds. Both bedrooms have private bathrooms and direct access to charming balconies, where you can enjoy magnificent views across the beautiful Tuscan landscape.

As an extra special touch, you will be welcomed upon arrival with a gift basket filled with fresh vegetables, the owners’ own extra virgin olive oil and other local delicacies – a warm introduction to your stay in Maremma.

For a truly authentic culinary experience, you can also arrange for a private chef to prepare delicious traditional dishes that capture the essence of Maremma cuisine.

The Surrounding Area

If you choose to stay at Villa Sassicaia, you are in an excellent location. The villa is only 3 km from the charming village of Marsiliana, where you will find local shops and welcoming restaurants.

The Mediterranean Sea is just 18 km away, making it easy to spend wonderful days at the beach, swimming in the clear waters, sailing along the coast or enjoying freshly caught seafood at one of the local restaurants.

If you would like to explore more of the area, you can visit the famous Terme di Saturnia, located approximately 30 km away. Here you can experience the renowned thermal springs, perfect for a relaxing day surrounded by the beautiful Tuscan countryside.

You can also take a trip to Pitigliano, located approximately 32 km from the villa. This historic town is built on dramatic tuff stone cliffs and is known as “Little Jerusalem” due to its Jewish heritage. Here you can explore charming narrow streets, cosy cafés and a truly unique atmosphere.
