Ancient chapel from the 1500s, carefully restored and ready to welcome families

Villa Lilliano accommodates 10 guests across 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, one of which is located in the adjoining annex.

The villa’s outdoor area

In the heart of Chianti, you’ll find this beautiful stone villa situated along a 200-meter gravel road, surrounded by the green Tuscan landscape. The villa is tucked away from the nearest neighbors yet offers views of vineyards and fields stretching toward the tall treetops.

The villa features a large lawn, perfect for playing, relaxing, or enjoying outdoor activities. A small path leads you through the trees to the pool area.

Here, trees and bushes create a cozy atmosphere, but you’re not missing out on the stunning view, which the owners have carefully ensured you can enjoy while swimming or relaxing on one of the sun loungers around the pool. The pool has built-in steps, making it easy for everyone to cool off on warm summer days.

On the opposite side of the villa, away from the pool, you’ll find a covered terrace with a barbecue and space to unwind – a charming corner that feels like a little hidden gem.

The interior of the villa

The villa has a truly special history, as it was originally a small chapel from the 1500s. Today, it has been carefully restored, yet you can still feel the peaceful atmosphere and see the old details that bear witness to its past.

Inside, you’ll find just as many beautiful details as outside. The classic floors, elegant wooden beams, and arches appear throughout the villa, creating a warm and authentic atmosphere.

The furniture matches the character of the house and has been carefully selected to reflect true Tuscan charm.

The kitchen is spacious with plenty of counter space and is equipped with a microwave, gas stove, coffee machine, kettle, fridge with freezer, and oven. There’s also a dining area and the heart of the villa – the living room with sofas where everyone can gather and relax.

On the first floor, you’ll find three bedrooms with double beds and one room with two single beds. This floor also features a sitting area and bathrooms with shower and toilet. From here, you can step out onto a small terrace to enjoy the view and the peaceful atmosphere from above.

The final bedroom is located in the annex, just a few meters from the villa. Here, you’ll find a bathroom, a double bed, and a small kitchenette.

Experiences in the area

The estate is owned by an old Tuscan family who, through generations, have preserved the place with great care. The family has carried on its legacy through both wine production and hospitality, and you can feel it in the atmosphere. It is possible to book a guided tour (for a fee) of the medieval wine cellar, where tastings of wine, olive oil, and local products are offered – an experience that gives you a small glimpse of authentic Tuscany.

From here, you can venture into the surrounding Chianti region, where the landscape and small villages continue the story of the true Tuscany.

The villa is peacefully located in the scenic Chianti area, surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, and rolling hills. The nearest town is Castellina in Chianti – a classic Tuscan village with small shops, restaurants, and charming squares where daily life moves at a gentle pace. Here you can enjoy a glass of wine at a café, shop for local products, or take a stroll through the narrow streets.

The area is ideal for those who wish to explore Chianti and central Tuscany. Florence is about an hour’s drive away, while Siena can be reached in under thirty minutes. There are excellent opportunities for hiking, wine tasting, and visiting nearby towns such as Monteriggioni and San Gimignano – or simply spending a peaceful afternoon surrounded by nature
