Beautiful classic Tuscan villa with charm both inside and out

Villa Leccino accommodates 20 guests across 10 bedrooms, all with private bathrooms.

The villa is set along a long ridge in the rural landscape of Bibbona, surrounded by forest and quiet nature, yet still close to both the coast and the well-known wine towns of Bolgheri and Castagneto Carducci. Here you get a large, classic Tuscan villa with plenty of space and privacy, where every family or group can easily find their own corner. The long gravel road leading up to the house gives a clear sense of leaving everyday life behind and stepping into a peaceful, secluded part of Tuscany.

Outdoor area

At the villa you’ll find a large covered terrace with two long tables, perfect for outdoor meals with the whole family. The barbecue and spacious outdoor areas make it easy to gather – without worrying about disturbing anyone, as the property is completely private.

In addition to the large garden, you can enjoy a beautiful infinity pool (12 x 6 metres, 1.5 m deep), which can be heated in the cooler months and is perfectly positioned toward the open landscape. Whether you are swimming in the pool or relaxing on one of the sunbeds, you have uninterrupted views of the Tuscan hills.

There are also swings for the youngest guests and football goals – ready for daily tournaments. The only question is whether you keep the same teams or create new ones.

Interior of the villa

Villa Leccino is a classic Tuscan stone house where the original walls and materials have been preserved. The entire villa has been carefully restored, keeping its original charm and atmosphere – and we personally think it has been done beautifully. The villa consists of two large apartments, which you will enjoy here as one single villa with space for up to 22 guests.

When you enter the ground floor, you are welcomed by a spacious living area with plenty of room to gather. Throughout the villa, the Tuscan character is evident in the stone floors, wooden beams and warm colours. Both floors have their own fully equipped kitchens, making it easy to cook no matter how many you are. Each kitchen includes an oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with freezer, food processor, toaster and all the utensils you need. There are also washing machines on both floors, which is practical for longer stays.

The ground floor also includes a living room, dining area and 4 bedrooms – two double rooms and two twin rooms – all with private bathrooms. Several of the bedrooms on this level have direct access to the garden.

The first floor has another living area and a second kitchen, giving this floor a pleasant sense of privacy. Here you will find an additional 6 double bedrooms, all with four-poster beds and private bathrooms, as well as an extra guest toilet.

From this floor, there is access to a beautiful south-facing terrace where the view over the hills truly unfolds. The terrace has its own barbecue and a staircase leading directly down to the garden, making it ideal for dining outdoors on warm evenings.

From this apartment, you also reach the tower room – a small, charming space with two sofa beds and its own compact bathroom. It is the perfect retreat for older children or teenagers who want a separate area.

The entire villa has air conditioning.

Experiences in the area

Villa Leccino is perfectly located for guests who want peaceful surroundings but also easy access to great experiences. Within a short distance, you’ll reach Bolgheri and Castagneto Carducci, two of the most atmospheric wine villages in the area with local trattorias, wine bars and charming streets. When you’re in the mood for a day at the sea, you can drive to Marina di Bibbona, where wide sandy beaches, shallow water and the characteristic pine forest make it ideal for both families and relaxed beach days.

Volterra and San Gimignano are within an hour’s drive, and the Bibbona area offers plenty of small restaurants, wineries, local markets and scenic walks – especially in the Macchia della Magona nature reserve located close to the villa.
