This beautiful, detached villa of 600 m² is located in the breathtaking landscape of Val d'Orcia, just a short drive from the small village of Monticchiello and within reach of Pienza. When the owners purchased the villa, it was in ruins, but through a long and meticulous restoration, they have transformed it into a comfortable, high-quality villa complete with a lovely pool. During the renovation, the owners made a great effort to preserve the original features of the building, and the villa exudes character and history.

Description of the Villa

The villa consists of two separate units, making it ideal for large groups or families who want both togetherness and privacy. The ground floor, which was once a stable building, accommodates 10 people. The upper floor, which was originally home to the farmers, has space for 4 people. The spacious rooms have beautiful beam ceilings, and from the villa, you can enjoy the most stunning views of the valley, where wheat fields, olive groves, and cypress trees stretch as far as the eye can see.

Ground Floor

Here you will find a fully equipped kitchen, allowing you to prepare meals together, as well as a large living and dining room with double doors opening to both the front terrace and the back garden. In a smaller living room, there is a large stone fireplace, which creates a cozy and warm atmosphere, perfect for relaxing with a good book or after a day full of experiences. On the ground floor, there are five spacious rooms, each with its own bathroom, all thoughtfully and carefully decorated with attention to detail.

First Floor

An external stone staircase leads you to the first floor, which is opened up when you rent the villa for 14 guests. Here, you will find two bedrooms with queen-size beds and three bathrooms, one of which has a jacuzzi, and the other two have shower cubicles. The curved windows offer you the most impressive view of the valley and the majestic oak tree in front of the house, and the stone fireplace creates a perfect atmosphere for afternoon reading or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

Outdoor Areas

The large lawn is open and inviting for play, allowing you to enjoy the fantastic view of the valley from here. Terracotta pots with geraniums, roses, and bushes of lavender and rosemary create a beautiful frame around the enclosed panoramic swimming pool, which measures 5.15 x 15 m and has a depth of 90-170 cm. Here, you can take a refreshing dip or simply relax in the sun. The covered dining area with a fireplace, pizza oven, and barbecue allows you to dine outdoors and enjoy the wonderful sunsets while gathering around a delicious meal.

There is a laundry room with a washing machine, ironing board, iron, and hangers available for use during your stay.
