Villa Le Ferrette accommodates 23 guests, with 11 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms.
Surrounded by nature and tranquillity, this large villa is the perfect choice for groups who wish to spend a holiday together. With plenty of space both indoors and outdoors, everyone can enjoy a relaxing stay in beautiful Tuscan surroundings.
The villa's interior
Villa Le Ferrette has been carefully renovated, with the owners placing great emphasis on preserving the authentic Tuscan charm and style that you and your family can now enjoy. Inside the villa, you will find traditional ceilings with exposed wooden beams, terracotta floors and walls painted in warm pastel colours – all beautiful examples of the true Tuscan style.
The villa offers 600 m² of living space spread over three floors.
On the ground floor, there is a small living area with seating. To one side, you will find a bar area equipped with an espresso machine, regular coffee machine, CD player, telephone, safe and alarm system.
A few steps lead down to the dining room, where two large tables provide seating for everyone. This room also features a TV, DVD player and Wi-Fi (available throughout the villa and around the pool area).
Next to the dining room is the large, fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen includes a gas hob with nine burners, oven, two refrigerators with freezers, two dishwashers, toaster, mixer and microwave. From the kitchen, dining room and living area, there is direct access to the terrace.
The ground floor also includes four bedrooms. Two of these bedrooms have double beds, private bathrooms and direct access to the garden. Another bedroom has a double bed and two single beds (four sleeping places in total), as well as its own private bathroom. The final bedroom on this floor features a small queen-size bed for one person and has its own bathroom.
On the lower level, there is a spacious lounge with a fireplace, making it especially cosy during the cooler months. One end of the room features a large dining table, while the other has sofas and armchairs. This is the perfect place to relax indoors, with a TV and DVD player also available.
On this level, you will also find a small library, table football, a bathroom and a guest toilet.
From the bar area on the ground floor, a staircase leads to the first floor, where you will find five double bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. The first floor also has two additional double bedrooms with lower ceilings. These rooms also have their own bathrooms.
All bedrooms on the first floor offer beautiful views across the valley.
All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning.
The villa's outdoor area
The estate covers 10 hectares and is surrounded by olive groves, orchards, fields and pine forests with walking paths for you to explore.
The property also offers several gardens, terraces, a swimming pool, a small fitness room and a sports area with beach sand, which can be used for activities such as football or volleyball.
You will immediately be impressed by the beautiful pool area and the stunning views over Montecatini Terme and the Valdinievole countryside.
The swimming pool (12.5 x 5.5 m, depth 1.30–1.80 m) is fenced and equipped with sun loungers and parasols. Here you will also find table tennis and a covered terrace with seating, providing a shaded retreat on hot summer days.
Below the pool area, there is a laundry room with two washing machines, an iron and ironing board, all available for guests to use.
The villa also offers a built-in barbecue, pizza oven, a large parking area and bicycles for guests to use.
The owner, Stefano, visits the villa every day to clean the pool. If you have any questions about the villa or the surrounding area, or simply need recommendations for sightseeing, he will be happy to help. Stefano speaks excellent English.
The owner can also arrange pizza-making courses, wine tours, cooking classes, private dinners and additional cleaning services, all available upon request.
The surrounding area
Within walking distance of the villa, you will find a small local restaurant. A pleasant 10-minute walk through the forest and along a gravel path takes you to a traditional Italian restaurant.
The nearest town is Montecatini Terme, which is famous as a spa town due to its thermal springs. However, the town offers much more than wellness and relaxation, with shops, cafés, bars, restaurants and shopping opportunities.
A visit to Montecatini Alto is highly recommended. You can either drive there or take the charming little funicular railway from Montecatini Terme.
The villa is also ideally located for exploring some of Tuscany’s most famous cities, including Florence, Pisa and Lucca. With this fantastic location and so many possibilities nearby, the only limit is your imagination.
