Villa La Capella accommodates 8–10–12 guests, with 4–6 double bedrooms.

Situated between the Abbey of San Galgano and the Chapel of Montesiepi, Villa La Capella has been carefully restored with great respect for its original architecture while offering all modern comforts.

A double staircase leads up to a spacious terrace, where you can enjoy impressive views in every direction.

The villa's interior

The villa is arranged over two floors.

On the ground floor, you will find a fully equipped kitchen with a hob, oven, fridge with freezer, microwave and dishwasher. There is also a spacious open-plan living and dining room with French doors leading out to the garden. For your convenience, the villa is equipped with a safe, telephone, CD player and internet access.

The first floor features a large living room with a fireplace and TV, a kitchen, two bedrooms (one double and one twin) sharing a bathroom, one double bedroom with direct access to a bathroom, and a further double bedroom with panoramic views and its own en-suite bathroom.

Eighteen steps lead from the first floor to an additional double bedroom with direct access to a bathroom.

The garden also provides access to a charming studio apartment with a double bed, a small kitchenette, a fireplace and a bathroom. (This apartment is closed when the villa is booked for up to 10 guests. For groups of 8 guests, both the studio apartment and one bedroom in the main villa remain closed.)

The villa's outdoor area

The garden features a private swimming pool (4 x 9 m, depth 1.40 m) and a large terrace with panoramic views. There is also plenty of space to relax, play games on the lawn or simply explore the beautiful surroundings.

The surrounding area

The villa is ideally located between the impressive Abbey of San Galgano and the Chapel of Montesiepi, home to the famous Sword in the Stone. The chapel is located just behind the villa and is one of Italy's most visited historic sites. In the evening, the illuminated abbey ruins create a beautiful setting that can be enjoyed directly from the terrace.

On Sundays, Mass is held between 11:00 am and 12:30 pm. During this time, guests are kindly asked to keep noise levels to a respectful minimum.

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed with an aperitif at Salendo Bar, which is within walking distance of the villa.

The owners also offer a welcome dinner for €30 per person (free of charge for children under 12 years old). Advance booking is required, and it comes highly recommended.
