Villa Il Mandorlo accommodates 10 guests, with 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.

Villa Il Mandorlo takes its name from the large and colourful almond tree that surrounds the house. In spring, when the tree is in full bloom, it can be seen all the way from the town of Arezzo. At this time of year, its blossoms release a wonderful fragrance that guests can enjoy while watching the flowers and leaves sway gently in the breeze.

The villa's interior

The villa has recently been renovated to the highest environmental standards, with no compromises made when it comes to design, interior décor or comfort. The result is a cosy and tastefully furnished property that combines modern quality with traditional Tuscan charm.

The villa offers 280 m² of living space spread over two floors and features five bedrooms and five bathrooms. The ground floor comprises a living room, a dining room, two double bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom with shower, and a fully equipped kitchen located beneath the original loggia.

From the dining room, the large glass doors frame breathtaking panoramic views of the valley, the surrounding hills and the town of Arezzo. The well-equipped kitchen includes a fridge with freezer, oven, microwave, pizza oven, dishwasher, induction hob, toaster, American-style coffee machine and espresso machine.

The first floor features three double bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom.

Villa Il Mandorlo is equipped with air conditioning, central heating, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, a washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities.

Upon request before arrival, wine tastings, cooking classes and private dinners at the villa can be arranged (at an additional cost). The welcoming owners also offer a complimentary welcome dinner on the day of arrival, as well as a breakfast basket with a selection of breakfast items for guests staying at least one week.

The villa's outdoor area

Outside, the villa features a beautiful covered terrace overlooking the valley and the town of Arezzo. The terrace is furnished with a dining table and chairs, making it the perfect place to enjoy every meal outdoors. It is also an ideal spot to relax during the afternoon siesta with a good book, a game of cards or simply while taking in the panoramic views.

Accessible directly from the covered loggia through elegant glass doors, the private swimming pool (6 x 8 m, depth 1.30 m) is tucked away in a secluded corner of the garden. Thanks to its location close to the loggia, living room and kitchen, it is easy to keep an eye on children in the pool while enjoying the peaceful surroundings during a relaxing afternoon or evening on the terrace.

The villa is part of a working winery where sustainability, wine production and authentic Tuscan charm go hand in hand. The estate follows a "Think Green" philosophy, focusing on organic production and renewable energy. As a guest, you can enjoy wine tastings, guided tours of the estate, guided walks, cooking classes and cultural experiences.

The surrounding area

The nearest town is Arezzo, located just 4 km from the villa. Here you will find supermarkets, pharmacies, banks, restaurants and many charming squares and cafés where you can enjoy a refreshing drink or an Italian gelato while soaking up the warmth of the Italian summer.

Next to Villa Il Mandorlo is the slightly larger Villa Leopoldina, which also has its own private swimming pool and garden and accommodates up to 12 guests. The two villas can be rented together, providing accommodation for up to 22 guests in total.
