Description of the villa

Hidden in the high hills of Cortona, you will find this villa, which is ideal for those who wish for peace, quiet, and relaxation – while still being only a half-hour drive from Cortona.

Villa Il Biancospino is a charming stone house situated with wonderful views of mountains, oak forests, and chestnut woods, all of which help create a peaceful atmosphere.

The villa has been carefully restored in light and calm colours, with many original details such as stone floors and wooden beams in the ceilings.

The living area is spread over two floors. On the ground floor, you will find two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a cosy living room with fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen with many lovely details. Here, you can prepare wonderful dinners, I am sure.

From the ground floor, there is direct access to the large covered terrace facing the pool. On the first floor, there is a spacious living room with sofa bed, three double bedrooms, and three bathrooms.

In the garden, you will find the beautiful swimming pool (10 x 5 metres, with varying depth, reaching 2 metres at its deepest point) with panoramic views over the hilly landscape. A view that is truly something special!

Several places in the garden have covered terraces, inviting you to spend time together and relax.

The garden is equipped with a barbecue, tables, and chairs, so everything is ready for cosy evenings outdoors.

Experiences in the area

Geographically, the villa is located close to the border between Tuscany and Umbria and approximately 18 km from Cortona, which is also the nearest town when you need to do larger shopping or visit excellent restaurants.

Camucia is also an option for shopping and dining out. Between the villa and Cortona, there is a small bar/minimarket where it is possible to enjoy a very light lunch or buy a few essentials.

The final stretch to the villa includes a few hairpin bends, as the villa is located in the hilly landscape – but the view makes it all worthwhile.
