Villa Il Basto is a beautiful villa on a hillside near Cefalu with fantastic sea views, and only short distance to the beach which is within a range of 3 km.

The recently refurbished villa has beyond the wonderful panoramic view of the sea and the area several beautiful terraces from which it is possible to both eat and relax in the afternoon and evening.

Villa Il Basto is extremely tastefully decorated with comfortable interior in bright and elegant colors, decorated with a blend of traditional antique furniture and in a modern Sicilian style.

On the ground floor there is a large living room with open wooden beamed ceilings, large couches, an open fireplace and French windows leading out to a large covered terrace perfect for eating by. There is also a kitchen and guest toilet on this floor.

On the first floor there are three bedrooms, where the one bedroom has a private bathroom, while the other two bedrooms (one room with double bed and one room with two single beds) share a bathroom. In an annex next to the villa there is another bedroom and a bathroom, tastefully decorated in bright, summer colors.

In front of the villa is the swimming pool (8 x 4 meters long ang wide and 1,50 meters deep) as part of a large terrace area where there are sun loungers and a small table, perfect for an afternoon or evening drink while enjoying the sunset.

The villa is located on a green slope with trees and other vegetation just 3 km from the beach and from the small village of Sant Ambrogio, which can be reached in a short drive. Here is a supermarket and some small restaurant.

The cozy little fishing village of Cefalu is approximately 7 km from the villa; here are plenty of opportunities to stroll around the charming Sicilian country life with the many restaurants, bars, shops in the small streets.

Interesting day trips can be arranged to Tindari where you can visit Roman ruins or take on a sail excursion to the Aeolian islands, an island group of volcanic origin.
