Villa Il Basto is a beautiful villa located on a hillside near Cefalù, offering stunning sea views and only a short distance from the beach, which is just 3 km away.

The recently renovated villa offers not only wonderful panoramic views of the sea and the surrounding area but also several beautiful terraces where you can enjoy meals, relax in the afternoon sun, and spend cosy evenings outdoors.

The villa’s interior

Villa Il Basto is tastefully furnished with comfortable interiors in light and elegant colours, combining traditional antique furniture with a modern Sicilian style.

On the ground floor, you will find a living room with exposed wooden beam ceilings, large sofas, an open fireplace and French doors leading out to a large covered terrace, which is perfect for outdoor dining. There is also a kitchen and a guest toilet on this floor.

On the first floor, there are three bedrooms. One bedroom has a private bathroom, while the other two bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with two single beds) share a bathroom.

In an annex next to the villa, there is an additional bedroom and bathroom, beautifully decorated in bright summer colours.

The villa’s outdoor area

In front of the villa, you will find the swimming pool (8 x 4 metres, 1.50 metres deep), surrounded by a large terrace area with sun loungers and café tables. It is the perfect place to enjoy an afternoon drink or an evening aperitif while watching the sunset.

The villa is located on a green hillside surrounded by trees and vegetation, only just over 3 km from the beach and the small village of Sant’Ambrogio, which can easily be reached by car. Here you will find a supermarket and several small restaurants.

The surrounding area

The charming fishing village of Cefalù is located approximately 7 km from the villa. Here you can stroll through the narrow streets and experience authentic Sicilian village life with its many restaurants, bars and small shops.

The area also offers plenty of opportunities for exciting day trips. Visit the Roman ruins in Tindari, explore the hiking trails in the Madonie Mountains, or take a boat trip to the Aeolian Islands, a beautiful archipelago of volcanic origin.
