The Villa has 8 bedrooms with room for 20 persons.  

Villa Giare is the perfect place if you want to have a big family holiday in your own villa with private pool and garden, while at the same time enjoy some privacy in one of the 8 cozy apartments in which the villa is divided. All the apartments have their own bedroom , living room, kitchen and private bathroom, in typical rustic Tuscan country style with tiled floors, some places raw brick walls and exposed beams but with all modern conveniences like wifi, TV and air conditioning. Some of the apartments have their own garden or a small terrace, perfect for breakfast outside in the sun or for afternoon relaxing in the shade with a good book.

The villa's ground floor has a lovely large living room with a shared kitchen where you can prepare meals together, have fun in the evening and have a game of billiards. There is also a large covered terrace where you can eat together and from which there is a beautiful view of the valley and Cortona in the horizon. Close to this terrace is a large brick barbecue for free use. It is also possible to arrange wine tasting and cooking school (fees apply) in the shared lounge and kitchen in the villa.

The lovely pool area (the pool is 7 meters wide,14 meters long and 1.80 meters deep) is close to the villa and is well-equipped with sun loungers and parasols. Near the pool there is also a covered terrace with table and chairs.

The entire villa has free wifi and besides the beautiful garden with many flowers, trees and cypresses there is a ping ping table, a smaller football pitch and a playground for the children. If you wish, it is also possible to buy vegetables from the place's own production.

Villa Giare is located 9 km outside the beautiful medieval town of Cortona and is located in a pretty, very small Italian village. Within walking distance of the villa is a smaller wine and oil producer, where you can buy locally produced wine and olive oil and a little outside the city is a small grocery store.

In Cortona there are many lovely and intimate restaurants and nice shopping opportunities and there are many exciting activities in the area with the possibility of cycling, horse riding, golf and tennis.

In the middle and low season, it is also possible to rent the villa for less than a week if you wish to divide your week of vacation between two different places in Tuscany.
