Interior of the Villa

Thanks to a careful and respectful restoration, this typical Tuscan farmhouse has retained its authentic charm and character. The 300 m² villa features beautiful original details such as exposed wooden beams and traditional terracotta floors, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

At the heart of the house is the cosy living room, where the original fireplace and wooden beams create a wonderful sense of history. The interior combines traditional Tuscan furniture, elegant curtains, and old paintings on the walls, resulting in a harmonious and timeless setting.

Next to the living room, you will find the charming kitchen, which combines modern comfort with traditional style. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, fridge, dishwasher, espresso machine, and everything needed to prepare delicious meals. In the centre of the room stands a large Tuscan dining table, perfect for enjoying long meals together with family and friends.

The villa offers eight carefully decorated bedrooms, all with comfortable beds and a bright, welcoming atmosphere. Many of the windows provide beautiful views over the surrounding countryside and the historic town of Cortona.

Five double bedrooms have their own en-suite bathrooms with either showers or bathtubs, while two bedrooms and one single bedroom share two spacious bathrooms with showers. The villa also offers the possibility of adding two extra beds.

When booking the villa for 1–10 guests, access is provided to the five double bedrooms with private bathrooms. When booking for more than 10 guests, the entire villa will be available. During high season, the entire villa is available regardless of the number of guests.

Outdoor Area

The villa is surrounded by a beautiful garden with large grassy areas, creating plenty of space for relaxation and outdoor activities. The centrepiece of the garden is the large private swimming pool (5 x 10 metres, depth 1.20–2.20/2.50 metres), which is exclusively available for villa guests.

Here you can enjoy peaceful days by the pool, soak up the Tuscan sunshine, and admire the breathtaking views towards the beautiful hilltop town of Cortona.

The Local Area

Villa Fontocchio enjoys an enchanting location at the foot of the Etruscan town of Cortona, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves.

The villa is located close to the town of Camucia, where you will find everything you need during your stay. Within walking distance, there is both a pizzeria, a restaurant, and a large supermarket (EUROSPAR).
