Villa Edo accommodates 12 guests across 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. The villa is set in the rolling hills near Cortona in the province of Arezzo, an area known for its medieval charm and Etruscan roots. Here you will find a spacious and modern villa surrounded by nature, offering panoramic views of the Tuscan countryside and easy access to beautiful towns in both Tuscany and Umbria.

Villa Edo stands on a large, well-kept property with a private pool, lush garden, and a pergola with a dining area and barbecue – perfect for al fresco meals. The pool invites you to relax while enjoying the gentle hills around Cortona, and the lounge areas provide space for both peace and togetherness. There is plenty of room for children to play on the grass or splash in the pool, which sits just a short distance from the villa.

Interior of the villa

Villa Edo består af selve villaen, og så er der et anneks til. Lige meget om I er i villaen eller annekset, så bliver I budt på lyse, moderne rum med rustikke detaljer som trælofter og stengulve samt overraskende moderne isæt som kunst og moderne møbler og lamper. Her er den toscanske stemning, stil og atmosfære blandet finurligt med ejernes overraskende farverige stil. 

Selve villaen rummer fem soveværelser, hvor der på 1. sal er 2 soveværelse med dobbeltsenge, disse værelser har egne badeværelser. På 2. sal finder I yderligere 2 soveværelser, som deler et badeværelse, I det nederste plan af villaen finder I det sidste soveværelse, som har sit eget badeværelse.

I stueplan finder I opholdsrummet, som er stor og indbydende med sofaer, pejs og spiseområde, og det åbne køkken er fuldt udstyret med ovn, opvaskemaskine, to køleskabe, mikroovn, kaffemaskiner og alt, hvad I behøver til fælles madlavning efter I har været ude og handle ind på det lokale marked i Cortona eller Camucia. 

Annekset, som ligger ved siden af villaen byder på et soveværelse med eget badeværelse med brus og toilet, samt en lille stue med pejs og et lille tekøkken. Her er flere niveauer, så der er en del trapper. 

Experiences in the area

Villa Edo is located about 3 km from the small village of Pergo, where you will find a couple of bars and a cozy pizzeria. The nearest grocery store is also in Pergo, while larger supermarkets and pharmacies can be found in Camucia or Cortona. The closest restaurant, La Locanda del Molino in Montanare, is around 4 km away.

Cortona itself is a truly beautiful medieval town that is hard not to fall in love with. It has a special atmosphere that is difficult to find elsewhere, and if you have the chance to visit, you absolutely should.

Villa Edo is ideally located for exploring some of Tuscany’s most famous towns, such as Arezzo, Montepulciano, and Pienza, as well as the green and authentic region of Umbria. Or you can pack a bag for a day trip to Lake Trasimeno, where you can swim, sail, or visit one of the lake’s islands.
