Outdoor Area

Nestled south of Siena and surrounded by rolling, forested hills as far as the eye can see, Villa Casenovole is an exceptional retreat where every detail has been carefully considered, both inside and out. It is the perfect setting for a peaceful holiday immersed in the beauty of the Tuscan countryside.

The villa's impressive private swimming pool (15 x 7 metres, depth 1.40–1.60 metres) is surrounded by a spacious wooden sun deck furnished with high-quality outdoor furniture. From the pool area, located approximately 50 metres from the villa, you can enjoy panoramic views across the hills towards Montalcino and Monte Amiata on the horizon. During certain periods of the year, and upon request, the pool can be heated. Guests also have access to an outdoor Jacuzzi located beside the pool.

This villa is an ideal choice for anyone seeking complete privacy and relaxation. Nature lovers will particularly appreciate the surrounding woodland, where deer and other wildlife are often seen.

Please note that the final 3 km leading to the villa is an unpaved road, making the property unsuitable for low-clearance sports cars.

An electric barbecue is available for guests. Due to the area's high fire risk, lighting fires or using any form of open flame outside the villa is strictly prohibited.

Interior of the Villa

Dating back to 1870, Villa Casenovole has been meticulously restored with great respect for its history, using locally sourced materials wherever possible. Handmade terracotta floor tiles, exposed wooden ceiling beams, original doors, and crisp white walls create an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere throughout the house.

On the ground floor, you'll find a comfortable living room furnished with modern sofas and satellite TV. A beautiful brick archway separates the lounge from the dining room, which features a rustic wooden dining table and carefully selected antique furnishings. French doors open directly onto the garden, allowing plenty of natural light to fill the space.

Adjacent to the dining room is the stylish stainless-steel kitchen, which is fully equipped with a hob, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, and dishwasher. Double doors from the kitchen lead directly to a lovely outdoor dining area with a table, chairs, and comfortable lounge seating beneath a modern red shade sail—an ideal spot for long lunches and relaxed summer evenings.

Also on the ground floor is a guest WC, along with one twin bedroom that can be converted into a king-size double upon request. This bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom with a shower.

An elegant marble staircase leads to the first floor, where you'll find four spacious and beautifully furnished bedrooms. One features a king-size bed, another is a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, a third offers a king-size bed with an en-suite bathroom including a bathtub, and the fourth has a king-size bed that can be arranged as twin beds if preferred, together with an en-suite shower room.

Two of the bedrooms also include double sofa beds (approximately 120 cm wide), allowing the villa to accommodate up to four additional guests. Please note that these extra beds are available at an additional charge per person, payable directly to the owners upon arrival (see pricing information).

Central heating, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi are all included in the rental price.

The Local Area

The nearest village is Casciano di Murlo, just 4 km away, where you'll find a grocery shop, butcher, bakery, restaurant, bar, bank, pharmacy, post office, and other everyday amenities.

The beautiful medieval city of Siena is only 24 km from the villa, while Florence and the Tuscan coastline can both be reached in approximately one hour by car, making Villa Casenovole an excellent base for exploring the region.

The nearest restaurants are Taverna di Casciano in Casciano, approximately a 10-minute drive away, and Il Ristoro in Le Ville di Corsano, around 15 minutes from the villa. For grocery shopping, the nearest large supermarkets are the Coop in San Rocco a Pilli and the supermarket in Monteroni d'Arbia, both roughly 20 minutes away by car. A smaller supermarket is also available in Casciano, only 10 minutes from the property.
