Villa Bacco is a country estate located a 4-minute drive from the tiny village of Ghizzano in the Pisa province. The villa is situated with a breathtaking view over the surrounding landscape.

The interior of the villa

This villa is a little out of the ordinary. The owner has furnished it for himself, and there are many very fine solutions and personal choices throughout the house. It is decorated in a warm country style with a beautiful combination of lovely textiles, modern art and rustic elements in the form of terracotta floors and exposed wooden beams.

The 450 m² property is spread over two floors. On the ground floor there is a large kitchen with two dining areas, a large living room with two sofa areas, a small bathroom with shower and a double bedroom (with air conditioning). The stairs from the entrance lead up to the first floor, where there are 4 large bedrooms (all with air conditioning): 3 double bedrooms and one room with two single beds. All rooms have their own private bathroom with shower or bathtub. The large master bedroom also has a private living room with TV.

From the kitchen on the ground floor, you can go out onto the terrace, where there is an outdoor dining area with a brick barbecue, where you can enjoy the fantastic view while eating and preparing your meals.

The villa’s outdoor area

Down the hillside you will find the pool area, which also offers a beautiful view over the surrounding landscape. The pool area has sun loungers and a parasol. The pool measures 5 x 10 metres and has a depth of 1.20 to 1.50 metres. Near the pool there is a pergola covered with wisteria, where there is also space for dining and relaxing in the shade. For the little ones there is also a swing and a small wooden playhouse.

The area you are staying in

Only a short drive from the villa you will find several charming small villages as well as some of the most famous towns in Tuscany. In the town of Ghizzano, which is the closest village, you will find, among other things, a small supermarket, 2 restaurants, a butcher and a pharmacy. In addition, the small village of Peccioli is nearby. It is located on a hilltop and has a long history. Here you can visit both churches and museums. Among the larger cities, Pisa is approximately 50 km away and Siena approximately 80 km away.
