Welcome to a location on the seafront with panoramic views

In the heart of the small seaside town of Marina di Castagneto Carducci, right on the beachfront promenade, you will find these three apartments with panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea.

The apartments

The apartments are located on the third floor (the top floor) of a building that also consists of private apartments, with a bar/restaurant and a few small shops on the ground floor. There is a small lift in the building.

There is direct access from the building to the beach, and on either side of the property you will find a small beach restaurant. Despite the very central location, the apartments are peaceful as they face away from the street, and the sound of the waves is the most noticeable sound.

All three apartments have west-facing balconies (with limited space) offering panoramic views of the sea, the beach and the islands. The balconies are equipped with chairs, a table and a parasol.

The area around the apartments

To the left of the building is a hotel with a lovely swimming pool located directly by the beach. You are welcome to use this pool for an additional fee if the sea and sandy beach are not quite enough :-)

The beach consists of beautiful fine sand and has been awarded the Blue Flag for its quality. It is possible to rent sun loungers and parasols on the neighbouring private beach. On the public beach directly below your apartment, you are welcome to use your own beach chairs and parasol. These beach items are provided free of charge and are stored on your balcony. There is also a shower available for you to use after a refreshing swim in the sea.

On both sides of the beachfront promenade, you will find restaurants and shops, and during the summer months the area truly comes alive – especially with Italian holidaymakers enjoying the relaxed coastal atmosphere. The seaside town is also known for its spa facilities, and there are plenty of restaurants serving delicious fresh seafood dishes. During summer evenings, the main street is likely to host a market and becomes pedestrian-only, creating a lovely atmosphere.

The owners are kind and welcoming, and they are happy to show you around the area. For example, they own a botanical garden by the beach, which is definitely worth a visit. The final photos in our image gallery are from this beautiful place.

Experiences in the area

There are many wonderful excursions to enjoy in the surrounding area. One of the major attractions is the wine village of Bolgheri, where you drive along a long and beautiful cypress avenue before reaching the charming village itself. Here you will find numerous restaurants and wine bars where you can enjoy the atmosphere and taste the local wines.

The nearest large supermarket is Conad, located in Castagneto Carducci (3.6 km away), and there are also two small supermarkets in Marina.

Le Finest - apartment of 50m2 with room for 3 - 5 people with living room with exit to terrace with 5 seats, kitchen corner (well equipped with dishwasher + coffee maker), dining area and double sofa bed (or 2 single beds) in the living room. Bathroom with shower and washing machine. Double room with double bed (or 2 single beds) and single bed. It is possible to open a door to Murex, if you want a bigger apartment. The parking lot for this apartment is in a fenced garden approximately 300 meters away.

Murex - studio of 32 m2 for 2-3 people with one large room with double sofa bed, one single bed, kitchenette (with limited space with 2 hotplates, small dishwasher, etc.), bathroom with shower and washing machine. The parking lot for this apartment is in a fenced garden approximately 300 meters away.

Nautilus (3 - 5 pers.)

Nautilus - apartment of 50 m2 for 3-5 people with a bright kitchen with dining area (well equipped with dishwasher + coffee machine) and a balcony with 3 good seats, double sofa bed in the living room, a large double room with double bed and a single bed with access to balcony, a fully restored bathroom with shower and washing machine. Airconditioning. The apartment is of very high quality and completely restored (2010). Both balconies are overlooking the beach / sea and Elba and on a good day you can see all the way to Corsica from here. It is possible to open a door to Murex, if you want a bigger apartment. Parking in the enclosed area (remote) just below the building to the south.

The prices include:

Water, gas, electricity, final cleaning, internet, linen and towels.

Baby cot free of charge up to 4 persons in Le Finestre and Nautilus, and 2 persons in Murex. A baby counts as a person.

 

To be paid locally:

Deposit: 200 euro (cash - refunded at departure).

NOTE: In case the waste has not been taken out, 50 euros will be deducted from the deposit.

Air conditioning: 1 euro per kw.

Heating: 2 euro per hour for Le Finestre and Nautilus, and 1,5 euro per hour for Murex.

  

Pets are allowed on request. 

 

NB - Tourist tax:

Tourist taxation, which is a small amount, has to be paid locally at arrival. The tourist taxation is expected to be approximately 2 euro per person per night (kids under 12 years not included).
