In the heart of the Chianti region, you will find this small enclave of buildings surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside and overlooking Brolio Castle.

For nature-loving guests seeking peaceful and relaxing surroundings, this is the perfect place. The owners have carefully restored the property and transformed it into two holiday apartments or small villas — both with their own private pool. At Local Living, we only rent out one of them.

The Villa

Sangiovese, the small villa that Local Living rents here at Trappoline, is furnished in typical Tuscan style and has a pergola where you can sit in the shade on the terrace and enjoy the tranquillity. There is air conditioning in the bedrooms.

Sangiovese is the first villa you reach and, as mentioned, has its own private pool where you and your family can truly enjoy the beautiful views.

A few metres further away is the other “apartment”. Inside this small 62 m² villa, you will find a renovated former barn, which has been transformed into a cosy living area with a sofa bed, fireplace and dining area.

There is also a kitchenette equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, toaster and a small cooking area.

In addition, there are two bedrooms: one with a double bed and another with three sleeping places, consisting of a double bed and a single bed.

The small villa also has two bathrooms.

The Outdoor Area Around the Villa

Only approximately 700 metres from the property, you will find the small village of Monti, where there is a shop, a bar and a restaurant.

The owner of this country estate also has a nearby winery, where they produce, among other things, Chianti Classico, olive oil and grappa.

There are excellent opportunities to learn more about Chianti Classico, as the owners are happy to show you around and arrange wine tastings. There is also plenty of opportunity to purchase supplies to take home.

Included in your stay is a complimentary wine tasting and a voucher for purchasing wine and olive oil.

Wireless internet is available outdoors throughout the entire property.

Trappoline is a perfect base for excursions, with only 17 km to Siena, 60 km to Florence and all the charming Chianti villages within a radius of 10–20 km.
