We had a great travel experience with you last time, which is why we returned. This time to Rigone in Chianti, where the owner was very hospitable and flexible. He hosted a wonderful and delicious wine tasting featuring local products.

Communication via WhatsApp worked really well. Your recommendations for towns in Tuscany were extremely useful.

We stayed at Popolano di Sotto. It is a wonderfully calm and peaceful place, and quite by coincidence there were three Danish couples staying there at the same time, which made the shared dinner served on Mondays extra cosy. We talked about good restaurants, sights, and more. The apartment was absolutely perfect. It had everything you needed, and the standard exceeded all expectations.

An absolutely fantastic location and the best host one could imagine. He was very attentive to whether you were enjoying your stay and helpful with booking a winery visit.

It was also lovely that the place was within walking distance of grocery shopping.

Nadia gave us suggestions for different places, and from there we chose Cormorani and tried a self-drive holiday for the first time ☺️ We had a wonderful holiday at Cormorani in Liguria. It was a very beautiful place and felt very authentic, as many Italians themselves lived in the area. Not nearly as touristy as we have often been used to when going on package holidays.

Local Living helped us find a lovely place where there was room for all our guests. We stayed at Borgo Collelungo, where we rented the entire property and celebrated our silver wedding anniversary with 40 guests. Everything was absolutely perfect in relation to the apartment and our expectations of the place. Barbara, the owner of the property, was truly welcoming and helpful. Barbara’s recommendations for a catering company and a cooking class were also perfect.

The only thing we might have wished had been different was that the apartments had an oven for cooking; we only had a stovetop.
