Impressive holdiday resort with 18 apartments

Tenuta San Giorgio is a beautiful country estate that was originally the center of a large agricultural farm but has now been lovingly transformed into a unique holiday destination. The atmosphere here is truly special, where historical elements have been preserved and integrated into the modern setting.

In recent years, Tenuta San Giorgio has become one of Local Living's guests' favorite places. The flexible arrival options and the relaxed atmosphere allow guests to meet other Danish families, especially during high season, creating a cozy and social vibe.

Description of the apartments

The 18 apartments on the property are spacious, with many original elements from the original building preserved and incorporated into the decor. 16 of the apartments are located in the same building on the ground floor or first floor. All apartments have outdoor seating with chairs and a table, but no private terraces, so you’ll have the opportunity to get to know your neighbors 😉

The remaining 2 apartments are located in the main house, and both have private rooftop terraces.

As a new addition, all apartments now have air conditioning.

The outdoor areas and facilities

Tenuta San Giorgio features a beautiful garden with olive trees and flowering bushes, creating a relaxing atmosphere around the buildings and the impressive pool (12.5 x 25 m, depth 120-165 cm). The pool is a major attraction, especially when the lights are turned on in the garden and pool as dusk falls, making swimming in the evening an extra special experience.

Next to the main building, there is a kitchen garden that contributes to the delicious meals served on-site. Here, you can find fresh tomatoes and other vegetables, which can be used in the kitchen.

If you're in the mood for some activity, there is a tennis court where you can enjoy a good match (agains a small fee). Rackets can be borrowed at the reception, and there is also a small playground for the youngest guests.

For those who want a great start to the day, breakfast is available and can be enjoyed in the courtyard. There is also a bar on-site, where you can get an ice cream, a beer, or a cappuccino throughout the day. And if you’re craving freshly baked bread, a bread delivery van passes by the estate every morning around 8:30 AM.

Three times a week, shared dinners are served: Tuesday and Saturday feature a Tuscan buffet with starters, main courses, and dessert, while on Thursday, lasagna and tiramisu are served. It's a fantastic opportunity to taste local dishes and meet other guests.

The area of Tenuta San Giorgio

There are running and hiking trails around Tenuta San Giorgio, allowing you to get close to the stunning nature.

There is a large supermarket in Peccioli, open daily until 8:00 PM, and a supermarket in Pontedera, open every day, including Sundays.

Tenuta San Giorgio is centrally located in the Pisa province, making it an ideal base to explore famous cities like Pisa, Florence, Siena, Lucca, Volterra, and San Gimignano, all within a 45 km radius. If you'd like to relax at the beach, it's only a 40-minute drive away.
