Experiences in the area

Tenuta Lupinari is situated in the rolling hills between Siena and Arezzo. It’s a small enclave of buildings, all converted into apartments of exceptionally high standards. The estate is nestled in the middle of 750 hectares of forests, vineyards, and olive groves. The surrounding area is remarkably unspoiled, and Tenuta Lupinari stands as an oasis amidst this pristine landscape.

The atmosphere at the estate

Both olive oil and wine are produced on-site, and you can purchase these local products at the bar. Here you can also order an aperitivo with cold cuts for a snack at sun set. 

Breakfast here can be recommended, and when the weather permits, you can enjoy your morning meal on the terrace. The breakfast buffet is outstanding, offering much more than a typical Italian breakfast.

If you’re interested in Italian culinary arts, you can join a cooking class on the estate, which comes highly recommended. It takes plan on-site every Tuesday at 4 PM.

The noble Pellegrino family, who own the estate, live in the castle next to the main building. They are now passing the reins to their daughters, who are doing an excellent job of maintaining the estate. There is a sense of grandeur here, undoubtedly thanks to the Pellegrino family's vision of creating a place with a truly special atmosphere. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered.

Apartments at Tenuta Lupinari

Each apartment has its own terrace, and many also have a small garden, complete with comfortable outdoor furniture. The estate offers plenty of space, with a large green area surrounding the main buildings, featuring comfortable sun loungers and white pavilions near the swimming pool.

The apartments are decorated with great attention to detail, featuring terracotta floors, rich fabrics, cozy sofas, and comfortable beds. There are no sofa beds. Internet access is available in the common areas.

Peace and quiet are a priority near the apartments, ensuring everyone can enjoy the tranquility. There are large lawns near the pool (20 x 8 m), providing ample space for children to play. Please note there are no washing machines available. All bedrooms in the apartments are equipped with air conditioning.

There are four hotel rooms (B&B) at Tenuta Lupinari, which can be rented if you need an extra room or prefer a shorter stay. Contact us at info@localliving.dk for inquiries. During the low season, the apartments can be rented for shorter stays (less than 7 days) and with flexible arrival days.
