Tenuta Lupinari is built around an old Tuscan hamlet that has been carefully restored with respect for its original style. Stone, wood, terracotta and traditional details are found throughout, and the buildings are arranged like a small village surrounded by nature.

There is no city noise or traffic right outside the door. Instead, you can enjoy birdsong, olive trees, open views and plenty of space for both adults and children.

It is a place that suits guests who want to relax between day trips and enjoy the property itself, rather than simply using it as a base for sleeping.

The nearby castle has now been sold and has a different owner. It is therefore not part of Tenuta Lupinari or your stay.

The apartments at Tenuta Lupinari

The apartments at Tenuta Lupinari are spacious and furnished in classic Tuscan style, with terracotta floors, wood, quality textiles and solid furniture. Most apartments have their own terrace, and several also have a private garden. There is plenty of space for outdoor dining and for enjoying quiet mornings and long summer evenings.

All bedrooms have air conditioning, and the apartments have their own kitchen, so you can decide how much of your holiday should be spent cooking at home, eating out or combining the two.

Tenuta Lupinari offers both apartments for couples and larger accommodation for families and friends travelling together.

Breakfast and dinner at Tenuta Lupinari

One of the things that makes a stay at Tenuta Lupinari especially relaxing is that you do not have to get in the car every time you would like to eat out.

In the morning, you can order breakfast with homemade products and local specialities.

The restaurant at Tenuta Lupinari is not a traditional restaurant open every evening. Instead, on selected evenings, a fixed four-course menu is served, based on local ingredients and Tuscan cuisine.

During the summer, dinner is served on the terrace surrounded by olive trees and countryside, and these are exactly the kind of evenings that make a holiday in Tuscany about more than sightseeing and day trips.

There is also a small bar by the restaurant, where you can enjoy local wine, cocktails, aperitivo, charcuterie and cheeses.

Dinner must be booked in advance.

Common areas

Around the buildings there is plenty of space and a large green area with comfortable sun loungers and white gazebos by the swimming pool.

The large swimming pool, measuring 20 x 8 metres, is surrounded by lawns with plenty of space between the sun loungers.

There is enough room for children to play while adults find a quiet spot with a book. This sense of space and tranquillity is one of the things that characterises Tenuta Lupinari.

Although the pool area is shared with the other guests, the property rarely feels crowded or busy.

Experiences at Tenuta Lupinari and in the surrounding area

If you would like to combine relaxation with a few special experiences, there are several options available from Tenuta Lupinari.

Cooking classes focusing on fresh pasta and traditional Tuscan dishes can be arranged, as well as wine tasting, truffle hunting with local guides and horse riding through the surrounding countryside.

Tenuta Lupinari is located in eastern Tuscany between Siena and Arezzo, only around 5 km from Bucine, where you will find a large supermarket for grocery shopping.

From here, there are plenty of opportunities for day trips to Siena, Arezzo, Chianti and Florence. Rapolano Terme, known for its thermal springs, is also within easy reach.
