Tenuta La Pieve – Il Giglio is a small holiday property with just three holiday apartments, located in an authentic stone house in the heart of the Tuscan countryside. Here, you will stay in peaceful rural surroundings, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, close to the small village of Pieve a Presciano.

The Holiday Apartments

All three apartments are located in the same building, and each has its own private outdoor area with a table, chairs, and a barbecue. The shared swimming pool provides the perfect setting for relaxing days while enjoying views of the surrounding countryside.

The Property

Tenuta La Pieve – Il Giglio is located just below the family's villa, where they have cultivated vineyards and olive groves for generations. Producing their own extra virgin olive oil remains an important part of everyday life, and wine tastings can be booked at the estate.

The swimming pool is shared between the three apartments and measures 7 x 14 metres with a depth of 1.20–1.40 metres. There is plenty of space to relax or enjoy a refreshing swim on warm summer days.

The Area

You will be staying in the countryside, where the roads consist of both asphalt and gravel. The gravel roads are maintained regularly, but weather conditions may occasionally make them a little uneven.

The small village of Pieve a Presciano is only about 400 metres from the property. Here, you will find a local bar and a couple of restaurants. However, the village becomes smaller year by year. For grocery shopping, we recommend visiting Bucine or Levane, both approximately 10 km away, where you will find supermarkets.

Tenuta La Pieve – Il Giglio is also an excellent base if you would like to explore some of Tuscany's classic cities, such as Siena, Arezzo, and Florence, during your holiday.

Tenuta La Pieve is a family owned wine estate where Local Living has selected several holiday homes.

For generations, the family has cultivated vineyards and olive groves, and producing their own extra virgin olive oil remains an important part of the estate's history. Upon arrival, you will meet the family at their reception, where you will receive your keys along with practical information before continuing to your holiday apartment.
