Surrounded by a magic landscape of vineyards and olive-groves, just in the heart of Tuscany, the Agriturismo “Tenuta di Sticciano” is the ideal place for a unique holiday combining both your need for relaxation and your desire of becoming acquainted with the artistic, historical, natural and wine and food wonders of this region.

Perfect location in Tuscany

Tenuta di Sticciano is located in the heart of Tuscany, overlooking the unforgettable landscape of Valdelsa crossed by vineyards, olive-groves and regular rows of cypresses. The farm is about 40 Km from Florence, 55 Km from Siena, 22 km from San Gimignano and about 85 km from Pisa.

The estate boasts an excellent location with a splendid view over the famous Tuscan hills and houses fifteen units of various sizes, fully equipped. They are divided into three rural buildings.

Description of the apartments

All the units have vaulted ceilings, timber ceilings with exposed beams, “cotto” floors and fireplaces in the kitchen-living room area; they are also furnished with rural art decor, according to the country style of the tuscan tradition and perfectly respectful of the atmosphere of the place. All apartments are equipped with aircondition. 

You can use the barbecues located in the common areas and may also take the advantage of a laundry room with washing machine, ironing board and iron

Ideal for active families

Sticciano boasts 2 large swimming pool (7 x 14 meters wide and long and 1,50 meters deep) and a small pool for children (60 cm deep) located on a terrace with an exciting view over the splendid surrounding landscape.

Next to the pool by the main house, there is a well-equipped playroom with table tennis, toys, drawing materials, and a shared TV.

Great place for food lovers

There is also a bar and snack bar open from March to August, where you can buy ice cream, coffee, and light lunches and snacks by the poolside. The bar is open from approximately 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Additionally, for an extra fee, it is possible to enjoy a breakfast buffet served in the main house, primarily based on organic ingredients sourced from the local area.

The property's excellent restaurant, is open for dinner everyday.

Wine tasting available upon request. Cooking lessons are provided upon request for a minimum of 2 people. From July to August once a week a free wine tasting is offered to the guests together with a short visit to the historic cellar with a brief explanation of wine making.

What is the area? 

The nearest town where you can shop is Fiano, which is approximately 4 km away from the country house. Here is a small grocery store, a butcher, a pharmacy and two restaurants. In the towns of Montespertoli (10 km) and Certaldo (13 km) there are supermarkets, restaurants, bars and small squares to hang out and enjoy everyday Italien life.
