Medium-sized vineyard with its own restaurant, beautiful pool area, close to San Gimignano, and hotel rooms/holiday apartments.

Arcangelo means archangel, and it's quite a fitting expression for the very special, light atmosphere here at the top of the hill with the fantastic view. From the vineyards to the olive trees, which are organically grown, surrounding Agriturismo Poderi Arcangelo, they produce famous wines such as: Chianti dei colli senesi DOCG, Vernaccia DOCG, Vinsanto DOC, and extra virgin olive oil. The enthusiastic owner Sanda Mora has preserved the rustic, typical Tuscan charm in the old houses of the estate with views of San Gimignano and Certaldo.

At Poderi Arcangelo, you can relax by the pool and enjoy the lovely atmosphere, take walks or bike rides along paths to San Gimignano, or experience the nearby cultural towns. In my opinion, the area is one of the most beautiful in Tuscany, and the trip to and from San Gimignano (10 km) is highly recommended in slow motion.

Casa Capezzano, Fienile Bio, and Casa Bio

In the main building (Casa Capezzano), guests are welcomed at the reception, and there is also a small farm shop selling the estate’s own products, soap, and ceramics, wine cellars, and the restaurant, which is under the expert guidance of Sanda's mother. The restaurant is the center of attention, offering a fixed menu every evening with typical Tuscan dishes. There is a large pool with a beautiful view of the vineyards towards San Gimignano. The building has 8 rooms of very high quality.

Casa Bio is for those who want a completely natural and organic experience: three rooms and a suite in the estate's former barn, restored according to eco-building standards (ICEA - AIAB certification) and designed based on feng shui principles. The exclusive use of natural and organic materials and the neutralization of electromagnetic fields are intended to ensure a highly harmonious holiday.

Casa San Rafaello

Casa San Rafaello is a smaller house with 5 holiday apartments in classic style, renovated in 2007 into holiday apartments with 2 – 8 beds and individual terraces, as well as a new pool. San Rafaello is located about 700 meters below the main house, so you will need to walk uphill to reach the restaurant. All apartments have kitchenettes with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, and oven (no dishwasher), a living room, and rooms according to preference. There is a shared washing machine.

Surrounded by green hills and still with a view of the towers in San Gimignano. The pool, measuring 7 x 14 m and 1 - 1.8 meters deep, is equipped with chairs and sunbeds. The pictures in the gallery are from both San Rafaello and Casa Capezzano.

Casa Ancangelo

Casa Arcangelo is a large villa for 20 – 25 people, with 9 rooms and 9 bathrooms, a large pool, and a lovely terrace (500 meters from the main house). See more under villas.

Poderi Arcangelo also offers standard double rooms and junior suites at the hotel (Bed & Breakfast). The junior suites (5 in total) are the largest, and they offer free internet and air conditioning.
