Villa for 14 guests – 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms

Podere Schignano is an attractive stone villa, simply and traditionally furnished, with 360 m² of living space, providing plenty of room for everyone. The villa is surrounded by beautiful countryside and enjoys lovely views across the Tuscan landscape.

The interior of the villa

The villa is arranged over two floors.

On the ground floor, there is a well-equipped kitchen with everything needed to prepare meals for family and friends. There is also a living room with a large dining table seating all guests, a fireplace and a sofa.

In addition, the ground floor has one double bedroom, one bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet.

On the first floor, there are two double bedrooms, two twin bedrooms and two further bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom with a shower. There are also two additional separate bathrooms with showers.

The villa does not have air conditioning, but fans are provided in all bedrooms.

The outdoor area

The villa has an attractive private swimming pool measuring 6 x 12 metres, with a depth ranging from 1.2 to 2.4 metres.

There is also a small, shallow section for children measuring 3 x 3 metres and approximately 70 cm deep. Here, you can relax on the sun loungers beneath the parasols while the children enjoy the pool.

There was previously a diving board by the pool. It has been removed for safety reasons and will not be replaced. Some of our current photographs still show the diving board and are therefore not fully up to date.

The villa is surrounded by a lovely garden with a variety of trees. There is also a courtyard with a barbecue and a covered outdoor dining area, where the whole group can gather for long meals together.

The area around the villa

The villa is located in the Florence area. Not far from Podere Schignano is the town of Borgo San Lorenzo, where you will find a railway station and a selection of shops.

Podere Schignano is well positioned for guests who would like to explore some of the area’s towns and cities. Florence is approximately 40 km away, Bologna around 100 km and Arezzo approximately 86 km away. Rome and Milan can both be reached in around three and a half hours by car.

There is also a golf course nearby for anyone who would like to enjoy a round or two during the holiday.

Podere Schignano is a good choice for a large family or several families travelling together who would like plenty of space, a private pool and the opportunity to explore both the smaller towns and larger cities of Tuscany.
