The country house sleeps 8 - 10 people and has 5 bedrooms and three bathrooms 

Podere Cerreto is a typical country house located just 10 minutes from the lovely medieval town of Cortona. Situated in the heart of Valdichiana in southern Tuscany, this authentic farmhouse has been completely renovated to offer the best experience and hospitality in rural and traditional surroundings. In the farmhouse just next to the villa, lives the the helpful and welcoming Italian family and owners of Podere Cerreto and they are at your disposal throughout your holiday stay, whether it's for some free fresh vegetables from the garden, a little homemade olive oil or ideas for an excursion in the area.

The villa is divided into 3 smaller apartments; two apartments are situated on the first floor, each apartment with two bedrooms and one bathroom and each with an independent entrance. On the ground floor the third apartments is situated and has one bedroom, one bathroom and there is a communal kitchen and a large living room, characterized by large vaulted arches. Here is also a spacious dining area with fireplace, and the living room has comfortable sofas and armchairs.

Outside the ground floor is a nice outdoor patio, equipped with a garden pavilion and a table with wrought iron chairs, perfect for eating outside and enjoying the summer heat.

The private pool area is a little away from the house and has a lovely area with sun loungers and umbrellas. Here is also a garden pavilion ideal for a quick outdoor meal or snack by the pool and an outdoor shower. The pool itself is  very big and misures 14 x 7 meters, and goes from 20 cm (stairs) up to 2.10 meters deep. The pool is open daily from kl. 8-21 (during the period from 21-08 the pool will be cleaned and is not available). From the pool there is a beautiful view towards the Tuscan hills in the direction of Montepulciano.

In the garden surrounding the house there is also a barbecue and pizza oven, ideal for organizing outdoor barbecue nights and for making real homemade Italian pizza. The owner of the farm produces extra virgin olive oil and they will be happy to let their guests taste and of course buy off.

In the country house there is also a small playground for the smallest children, table tennis and of course free wifi throughout the villa.

Podere Cerreto is located approximately 10 km from Camucia near Cortona, where there are good shopping in the form of supermarkets, butchers, greengrocer, bank and pharmacy. Closer is Fratticiola, which is about 2 km away, where there is a smaller grocery store.

Here in the heart of the beautiful Tuscan countryside, Podere gives you the opportunity to spend a relaxing holiday, despite being a short distance from the most characteristic historical centers in Tuscany. The area also offers many activities as horse riding, trekking and running and there are both tennis courts and good golf areas that you can use.
