This detached villa accommodates up to eight guests and features four bedrooms and three bathrooms.

Podere Casello is situated in the heart of the typical Tuscan countryside, near the village of Montisi. Florence is approximately one hour away by car, while Siena and Perugia can both be reached in around 45 minutes.

The Villa

Podere Casello is set on a plot of approximately 2,500 m² and offers 160 m² of living space spread over two floors.

On the ground floor, you will find a living room with a seating and dining area, as well as a fireplace. There is an open-plan kitchen, one bedroom with two single beds, a bathroom with shower and toilet, a separate guest toilet, and a utility room equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, and an additional fridge with freezer.

The first floor features one bedroom with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom, two bedrooms each with two single beds, and a bathroom with a shower, bathtub and toilet.

Outdoor Area

Podere Casello is situated on a small hill and enjoys breathtaking panoramic views. On a clear day, you can even see Monte Amiata in the distance. The surrounding countryside is home to deer, foxes and pheasants, while the landscape changes beautifully throughout the seasons—from fresh green fields in spring to golden harvested fields dotted with hay bales, and finally to the grey ploughed fields after summer. Everything is in place for a holiday that combines culture, gastronomy and complete relaxation.

After a day of sightseeing, you can cool off in the swimming pool (5 x 10 metres, 140 cm deep) or simply relax in one of the many seating areas in the garden.

Experiences in the Area

The small village of Montisi is just 2.5 km away and offers a grocery shop, a bakery, a bar and three restaurants.

The famous wine towns of Montepulciano and Montalcino are only a 30-minute drive away, while Pienza, renowned for its Pecorino cheese, can be reached in just 15 minutes. Larger cities such as Siena, Florence, Perugia and Rome are between 45 minutes and 2.5 hours away by car. The coast is also within easy reach, approximately one hour from the villa.

During the summer months, the area hosts numerous local festivals, including the Giostra di Simone, which takes place in Montisi every August.

A stay at this charming villa is especially recommended during spring or autumn, when the region comes alive with cultural and culinary events such as the olive harvest festivals in October and the truffle festivals in November. For golf enthusiasts, there are also two golf courses within a 30-minute drive.
