Stylish farmhouse with beautiful location
Authenticity, heartfelt hospitality, and breathtaking views are just a few of the words I would use to describe Podere Bagnolo. And it is not only because of the property's beautiful old buildings, the traditional Tuscan interior, or the stunning views that are difficult to take your eyes off. It is also very much thanks to the owners, Lucia and Antonio. They make you feel welcome and at home, even if we occasionally need a little help from Google Translate, as their English is limited. Fortunately, what we cannot communicate with Google, we manage with smiles, gestures, and good humour – and somehow we always end up understanding each other perfectly.
The apartments
Podere Bagnolo is an old stone house with two holiday apartments: Aranico for 4 guests and Mandarino for 2 guests. The apartments are beautifully positioned, so when you step outside your door, you can admire the stunning Tuscan landscape in all its colours and rolling shapes. The private terraces are located on the ground floor in front of the stone house, and you will need to walk down a few steps to reach them. Once there, you can simply sit back and take in the wonderful surroundings – and the steps are truly worth it.

The property's surroundings
At the bottom of the steps, a small path leads to the swimming pool, where you will be greeted by the same spectacular views that can be enjoyed throughout Podere Bagnolo. The pool (6 x 12 metres, depth 1.2–1.4 metres) is surrounded by sun loungers for everyone, and there is plenty of lawn where children can play.
Podere Bagnolo is a popular holiday destination thanks to its peaceful surroundings, breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside, excellent location in Tuscany, the fact that there are only two holiday apartments, and, above all, because of Lucia and Antonio, who help make your holiday a truly authentic Tuscan experience.
Things to see and do nearby
Now that you have travelled all the way to Tuscany, it would almost be a shame not to discover some of the region's hidden gems, even though it can be difficult to leave Podere Bagnolo and its unforgettable views. The nearest village, Murlo, is about 4 km away and has a local grocery shop. Bibbiano is 5 km away, and the magnificent city of Siena is only 25 km from the property.
