Agriturismo Le Dolci Colline means "The Gentle Hills"—a name that perfectly reflects its idyllic setting in the heart of the Umbrian countryside, surrounded by rolling green hills and peaceful valleys.

The Apartments

The country estate offers five charming apartments of varying sizes, allowing you to choose the one that best suits your needs. Each apartment has its own kitchen, equipped to varying degrees, but all include a refrigerator and cooking facilities, making it easy to prepare your own meals.

Every apartment also has its own private outdoor dining area, either in the garden or on a private veranda. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, both inside the apartments and across all communal areas.

Outdoor Facilities

The shared outdoor area features a large, beautifully maintained garden filled with flowers and mature trees. Guests have access to a communal barbecue area and a shared laundry room.

The estate also offers an impressive range of activities and facilities, including a family-friendly swimming pool (9 x 4 metres, depth 1.10–1.50 metres), table tennis, a pétanque court, a selection of board games, and five mountain bikes available free of charge. There is also an archery range, a hammock for relaxing in the shade, and a children's playground.

The Local Area

Guests can also visit a nearby farm where they can meet a variety of friendly animals or discover the fascinating world of bees at a local apiary. Visits to both the farm and the beekeeping centre are included in your stay and are especially popular with younger children.

The nearest town is the medieval village of Valfabbrica, approximately 4 km from the property. Here you'll find supermarkets, local shops, restaurants, banks, and a pharmacy, along with several charming cafés and bars where you can enjoy a refreshing drink during the warm afternoon hours.

The friendly owner, Filippo, is always available to help during your stay and is happy to assist with arranging excursions and activities in the surrounding area. These include horse trekking, tandem hang gliding, boat trips on Lake Trasimeno, and visits to spectacular underground limestone caves. During the autumn months, you can also join guided truffle hunts in the lush Umbrian forests or experience off-road jeep excursions through the countryside.

These excursions must be booked in advance before arrival and are available at an additional cost. All are accompanied by a private English-speaking guide.
