La Terrazza Dei Frati is an ancient country estate whose history dates back to the Middle Ages. It's said that the building was once used by the Camaldolese monks when they visited the Roman parish church in Dicomani. The villa has been thoroughly renovated and is decorated very cozily with tasteful furniture, beautiful wooden ceilings, and exposed beams.

The 320 m2 villa is situated in the heart of the green Mugello valley, boasting a fantastic location with panoramic views of the countryside and mountains on the horizon. The house is surrounded by a beautiful fenced garden with a large swimming pool (7 m x 14 m, depth ranging from 120 cm to 350 cm) furnished with sun loungers and a shaded area for those seeking relief from the sun during the day.

The significant advantage of this villa is its terraces encircling the house. You can choose your preferred view and enjoy the sun's path throughout the day. The terraces invite communal gatherings, offering the perfect setting to relish a delightful meal in the shade while soaking in the Tuscan landscape on the horizon.

The villa comprises a main house (4 people) and an annex (6 people). Due to the sloping terrain, the accommodations are on different levels with multiple exits to the garden.

Main house: On the lower ground floor, there's a lovely covered terrace with garden furniture, a dining room, and a kitchen. On the ground floor (a few steps up), there's an entrance, a living room with a fireplace, and a bathroom. On the first floor: passage room; 1 double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom with a shower (toilet/bidet); 1 room with two single beds; 1 bathroom with a whirlpool bath (toilet/bidet).

The annex is slightly set apart from the main house, creating a lovely additional paved terrace between the buildings. The annex includes on the ground level a kitchen and a dining room with direct access to the covered terrace, 2 bedrooms, and a bathroom. The upper floor comprises a large living room with a fireplace, double sofa bed, and a bathroom.

La Terrazza Dei Frati is located approximately 6 km from the town of Vicchio, where shopping facilities and restaurants are available. Florence is about an hour's drive from the villa, offering galleries, museums, numerous restaurants, and shops. For shopping enthusiasts, the Barberino Designer Outlet is about a half-hour drive away, boasting over 100 stores featuring Italian and international fashion brands.

For those seeking activities, Lago di Bilancino is also just half an hour from the villa. Here, you can engage in windsurfing, sailing, or canoeing. The Poggio dei Medici Golf Club is at the same distance from La Terrazza Dei Frati if you fancy playing a few rounds. Nearby, there's also a riding school if you wish to explore Tuscany on horseback.
