Beautiful villa with lovely details 

La Casa del Re accommodates up to 11 guests in 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.

Here you and your family can enjoy staying in a truly Tuscan villa, featuring beautiful floors, impressive ceilings and cypress trees surrounding the garden.

The villa's outdoor area

La Casa del Re is situated on a hilltop, offering lovely views from the patio where you can sit and enjoy your meals. There is a barbecue, allowing the chef to cook outdoors instead of being confined to the small kitchen, while enjoying both the beautiful surroundings and the company of family and friends.

In the garden you will also find the swimming pool (4 x 7 metres, depth 1.20 metres), which is screened by cypress trees, olive trees and shrubs, allowing you to enjoy a swim in complete privacy. Around the pool there are sun loungers and parasols.

The layout of the villa

The villa itself is an impressive stone building with brown window frames and traditional green shutters. Personally, I was captivated from the moment I saw it – the villa has a wonderful sense of charm, character and authentic Tuscan atmosphere.

On the ground floor there is a living room with sofas, a fireplace and TV, a dining room, a small kitchen, and a games room with direct access to the garden.

On the first floor there is one double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, one single bedroom, one double bedroom with a French double bed (140 cm, suitable for two people), and a further bathroom.

The second floor consists of one double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, one twin bedroom with two single beds, one further double bedroom, and an additional bathroom.

Experiences in the area

You will be staying just 800 metres from the nearest village, Piazze, where you will find a grocery shop, a café, a wine shop and a restaurant. Piazze is a small village in the Province of Siena. You will also be close to Cetona, famous for its caves, and San Casciano dei Bagni, which has been renowned for its thermal baths since Roman times.

La Casa del Re offers plenty of opportunities for both relaxation at the villa and exploring the surrounding area. If you are looking for a holiday with time to unwind while discovering the nearby attractions without long drives, this is the perfect place for you.

The prices includes:

Gas, water, electricity, towels, bed linen and wifi.

 

Pool season:

The swimming pool is open from 17/5 - 26/9.

 

To be paid locally and directly to the owners:

Deposit: 300 euro.

Final cleaning: 150 euro cash deposit only

Air Condition: 15 euro pr. day. 

Electricity (200 kWh include): after consumption. 

Heating on consumption gpl per m3 (Price depends on the market, considers €4/5 per m3)

Possibility of baby cot on request (in advance): 25 euro per week.

High chair is free on request. 

Possibility of extra bed on request (in advance): 100 euro per week.

 

Pets are allowed on request: 25 euro per pet per week. 

 

NB - Tourist tax:

There is a tourist tax, which is a small amount to be paid directly at the country house on arrival.
