The villa’s interior

The villa invites you to peace and relaxation, as Il Giardino delle Giare is completely private and surrounded by a beautiful and blooming garden. And it is precisely the garden that is the heart of the property – this is where you will want to spend most of your time; outside in the garden, on the terraces, and not least by the pool.

The house itself is decorated in a bright and modern style. On the ground floor, you will find a living room with TV, a kitchen, and a bathroom with shower. In addition, there is a sleeping area with two bedrooms with double beds and a bathroom.

The villa’s outdoor area

The large swimming pool (6 x 12 metres and 1.3–3 metres deep) has both parasols and sun loungers, allowing you to relax after a swim.

In addition, there are several terraces at the property that you can use depending on where the sun is located – both for enjoying the sunshine and for finding shade. There is an outdoor barbecue and a stone oven, so you can prepare Italian pizzas and enjoy barbecue evenings.

A gravel road leads up to the house and the pool. This is a private road, which is only used by the guests staying at the villa.

Experiences in the area

The nearest town is approximately 5.5 km away and is Castiglion Fiorentino, where you will find restaurants, shops, and a weekly market every Friday (approximately 09:00–13:00).

There are 14 km to the medieval town of Cortona, which is a slightly larger town and definitely worth a visit. From here, you can enjoy beautiful views over the valley, as well as many charming bars, restaurants, and excellent opportunities for shopping local arts and crafts.

You are also not far from the Umbria region, where the large Lake Trasimeno is located. Here, there are many opportunities for excursions and it is an obvious destination for a cycling trip if you would like to be a little active. It is also possible to take one of the small boats to one of the islands located in the middle of the lake.
