Beautifully situated agriturismo surrounded by wine vines and olive groves
The farm house consists of 10 apartments and is situated on a beautiful spot where you will quickly feel relaxed and in harmony. Lots of hills covered with vine and olive trees as far as the eye can see. The lovely pool with sun beds will quickly become the focal point, if you are not out exploring the area.
At guests disposal there is a large common room that is ideal for groups or family dinners. In addition, there is a 1st floor common room with fireplace and a reading corner.
Possibility of tasting by the site's own honey, oil and wine production. There is also a small vegetable garden, from which you can harvest fresh vegetables for dinner (selection and quantity naturally depends on the season ..)
From the farm house you have a view over Volterra area and to Lajatico, which is Andrea Bocelli's birthplace, there is 20 km.
Below a large lake is located, where you can fish. Otherwise, nature is ideal for long walking, jogging or biking trips.
Il Gattero is located 9 km from Peccioli, a small medieval town with shops and restaurants. The nearest town is Fabbrica, and is located approx. 3 km from the farm house.
The owner Massimo lives on the spot, and he speaks excellent English. Every Monday during the summer months he arranges communal dinners (25 euros all inclusive) on the new terrace where it is possible to try a typical Tuscan menu.
All apartments have access to table, chairs and umbrella close by.
From 2020 there will be air conditioning in all apartments, with the exception of Primula and Ribes. Air conditioning costs 15 euro per day.

The price includes:
Final cleaning for the apartments (unless the accommodation has not been left tidy), gas, water, and electricity.
Pool season
The swimming pool is open from 08/05 to 19/10.
Paid locally and directly to the owners:
Air conditioning/heating: 120 euros per week (there is no air conditioning in Primula and Ribes.)
Departure cleaning: 60 euros for Villa Massimo - free for the apartments.
Towels and bed linen: 18 euros per person.
Extra bed and baby cot must be pre-booked.
Washing machine: 5 euros per wash.
Charger for el-cars: after consumption.
Bicycle rental is free. Children's bikes are also available. *Payment can be made in cash or by credit card.
Pets are not allowed.
NB- Tourist tax:
Tourist taxation, which is a small amount, has to be paid locally at arrival.
