I Bonsi exudes of historical authenticity combined with modern comfort.

The impressive Bonsi property is located on the hills over looking Florence and the Arno Valley.

The estate was built in the1400th century as a fortress that would defend the Florentine family Bonsi della Ruota. Bonsi was transformed in the 17th century to a monastery. Today the owners still live in the main building in Bonsi and the estate can be visited by appointment.

In the magnificent estate cellars they still produce olive oil - Extra Virgin Olive Oil "I Bonsi" and also a good red wine - Chianti Colli Fiorentini The estate also has a nice pool area with sun terrace.

The estate has several buildings grouped around the villa, and in these some huge and very nice apartments have been furnished in accordance with the original style, yet offering modern facilities and comfort. Each apartment has its own private terrace.

The apartments include a large pool 8 x 10 m with associated children's pool.

The Biocchi-house is surrounded by a large park with its own private courtyard. Divided into two apartments,and retained its original structure with vaulted ceilings on the ground floor and beamed ceilings on the second floor. In this building Giardino,Torrino and Pomaio are located.

The house Cencio goes back to the 18th century and was once part of the monastery. In Cencio there are three apartments: Terreno, Loggia, Torre.

Bonsi is also offering breakfast which is a lovely buffet. It is 10 euro per person. You can also have the pleasure of enjoying lunch or dinne in the restaurant and it is available at a minimum of 6 pers. You have to give a 2 days of notice to book or order from home. The menu depends of the season.

There is WIFI in all the apartments and at the pool.
