Sea, sun, history and culture at hand

Passion for Sicilian culture and tradition inspired Curatolo family to convert Duca di Castelmonte farmhouse into a charming tourist residence.

The comfortable apartments are reconverted warehouses, stables and ancient farmhouse areas and are recommended from 2 to 7 people.

The large estate grows vegetables, fruits and olive trees which are essential ingredients of the traditional tasty recipes, such as: homemade tomato puree, preserves and jams, home grown vegetables and our special “agri-pizzas”.

The guests will have the chance to eat genuine dishes of the Sicilian tradition and local recipes from Trapani, expertly prepared by the chef. The restaurant, which is the heart of the Agriturismo, is the perfect laboratory where guests are the protagonists.

The renovation of the Baglio and the entire estate aimed at creating meeting points and services to guarantee guests an enjoyable and relaxing stay.

The agriturismo is fully accessible to guests with special needs.

Each apartment has its own entrance and offers a intimate and comfortable stay. We can propose studio apartments, two and three bedrooms apartments and can accommodate from 2 to 6 people.  All of them feature an equipped  kitchen  area, private veranda, bathroom and air conditioning. 

Duca di Castelmonte organizes recreational, captivating events and activities for its guests. The cooking classes will give guests the opportunity to discover and prepare traditional Sicilian recipes. The restaurant  proposes  pizza with typical ricotta cheese and live every  Thursday from June to October. The tastings will let you enjoy our home grown produces, such as bread and olive oil, and other local specialties while your children will have fun  preparing bread or pasta in our kitchen laboratory.

Our breakfast is served daily and it includes a rich sweet and tasty buffet with cakes, homemade pies and jams, milk, coffee, the, biscuits and bread.

The prices includes:

Water, gas, electricity, AC, internet, cleaning every three days, weekly linen change and during the week upon request.

 

Pool season: 

The swimming pool is open from 08:00 - 13:00 and 15:30 - 20:00 in the period 01.04 - 31.10 .

 

To be paid locally and directly to the owners:

Lunch and dinner in the restaurant.

Pool towels: 3 euro per towel. 

Tennis: 10 euro per hour.

 

Pets are allowed: Small size - 5 euro per day, medium size - 8 euro per day and big size - 10 euro per day.

 

NB - Tourist tax:

Tourist taxation, which is a small amount, has to be paid locally at arrival. The tourist taxation is expected to be approximately 2 euro per person per night (kids not included) and a maximum of 10 days.
