Le Mascie is perched on a gentle hill, surrounded by vineyards, forests and old oak trees, and offers an enchanting view of the classic Tuscan landscape. The old stone houses have been carefully restored and set the scene for your holiday, where you’ll immediately feel the calm and warm atmosphere. There’s plenty of space, lush gardens, flowering pergolas and cosy little outdoor spots that invite you to relax and enjoy the moment together.

The apartments

There are seven apartments in total, all decorated in traditional Tuscan style. You’ll find exposed stone walls, terracotta floors, wooden beams and natural stone fireplaces – all contributing to an authentic and inviting feel.

The holiday apartments are spacious and bright, and each one has a fully equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, dishwasher and freezer. Every apartment has two bathrooms and a private terrace with a pergola and flowers, where you can sit in the shade and enjoy a glass of wine or a good book in the evening.

Naturally, there’s satellite TV and heating, and families with small children will appreciate the availability of cots and high chairs. Well-behaved small pets are welcome by prior arrangement.

Facilities

The swimming pool measures 16 x 8 metres and is 150 cm deep. It’s centrally located in relation to the apartments and is surrounded by sun loungers, parasols and natural shade from roses and trees. It’s the perfect spot to cool off, read a book, or simply enjoy the peace and quiet.

For the children, there’s a small football pitch, table tennis and bikes for little ones to use freely. Scattered around the gardens, you’ll also find shared barbecue areas, ideal for cooking and dining under the open sky.

Experiences on site and in the area

If you’d like to experience more than just relaxation, Le Mascie offers a range of additional activities, which the staff will gladly help you arrange. You can go truffle hunting with local guides and their dogs, take part in cooking classes focused on Tuscan cuisine, or visit nearby wineries for wine tastings.

For the more adventurous, it’s also possible to rent mountain bikes or e-bikes and explore the surrounding countryside. There are also massage and beauty treatments available, and you can go on guided tours in classic cars, a Ferrari or even off-road motorbikes.

Le Mascie is located in the municipality of Casole d’Elsa, an area with deep historical roots going back to Etruscan and Roman times. In the Middle Ages, it gained importance as part of the pilgrimage route Via Francigena, and the nearby villages and landscapes still bear visible traces of this rich past.
