Lovely holiday apartments with saltwater pool and many child-friendly and suitable activities

If you are looking for a nice and relaxing country house in a beautiful setting, with plenty of facilities and activities for children then Casale degli Olmi is probably the right choice for you!

Casale degli Olmi is beautifully situated on a small hill overlooking the area, the Tiber River and the small town of Umbertide, which is only 1 km away, about 15 minutes walk and 5 minutes by bike.

The country house has 5 apartments of different sizes (between 2-5 people) and here is everything that a child can ask for; indoor play area with games and coloring books and an outdoor playground with swings and a slide, large lawn where to run and have fun, a large swimming pool for adults and big children (measuring 6 x 12 meters and between 1.20-1.80 meters deep), where a smaller part of the pool has an area for smaller children with a depth only of 60 cm. Here you can also bring water toys. The pool water is also purified without the use of chlorine, but thanks to a salt water system, which, in addition to a high hygiene does not cause redness of eyes, irritation of delicate skin whitening accessed and costumes, having a salt concentration much lower than that of the sea and comparable to that of a tear.  At the pool area is also a jacuzzi (not salt water but chlorine), from where there is a great view of the city and the countryside, especially at night time.

The five apartments have all well-equipped kitchens with hobs and fridge (no oven) and dining area. All apartments have free wifi, TV and it is possible to have extra children's equipment provided free of charge to the apartment in the form of a baby cot, baby chair, night lights for cots, children's toilet seat (wc adapter) and dishware. The apartment Ceraso has its own private terrace outside the entrance, while the other four apartments have a large common area with dining table, chairs and barbecue for sharing and where you can enjoy the evening meal outside.

In the common house there is also a fireplace and a play area for children, and it is also possible to have a typical Italian breakfast (extra charge) consisting of coffee, tea, juice, freshly baked bread, homemade marmalade and honey, cookies and other sweet. If you want to go sight seeing in the area near the country house, Casale degli Olmi also offers mountain bikes for free to guests (here is also a bicycle with rear seat, 2 bicycle helmets for adults and 1 children's bicycle helmet) and they also have baby carriers, which you can borrow for free and use during your stay.

In Umbertide there are several good restauants and pizzerias. supermarkets, butcher, banks, pharmacies, cafes and a laundry service if you need to do some washing. Here is also a bicycle rental with additional equipment like helmets and bicycle trailers for children for the bikes. Every Wednesday morning there is a market in Piazza Caduti del Lavoro, where you can shop fresh vegetables and fruit.

Near the country house there are lots of activities for the children: 10 minutes from the country house is a smaller honey producer with a workshop making home-made candles, they will explain you where the honey comes from and afterwards the children can make their own candles, Another place near the country house is a nice farmhouse where you can get a tour and get in touch with the animals of the place (sheep, goats and alpacaer); all included in your stay and free of charge.
