Villa Borgo Santo Stefano accommodates 14 guests across six bedrooms and six bathrooms.

Borgo Santo Stefano consists of three separate units located within two buildings: Casa Fufigna and Il Granaio. The two properties were originally the old farmhouse and barn of the estate. A careful restoration project completed in 1998 transformed the buildings into three beautiful villas while preserving their authentic character.

The small village of Santo Stefano was once an agricultural settlement, built around 1850 in a spectacular hillside location overlooking the entire valley.

The Villa Accommodation

Casa Fufigna (4 bedrooms – sleeps 8 guests) is arranged over two floors. On the ground floor, you will find a fully equipped kitchen and a large communal living area with enough space for everyone to gather. The room features a fireplace and a sofa bed. Continuing through the house, there is one bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and one bedroom with two single beds. Near the entrance, there is an additional bathroom with bathtub. The first floor is accessed from outside via a beautiful stone staircase leading to a small terrace. Here you will find a cosy living room with fireplace, a kitchenette, one double bedroom, and one twin bedroom with two single beds. Next to the kitchen is a bathroom equipped with both bathtub and shower.

Il Granaio (2 bedrooms – sleeps 6 guests) is arranged over two floors. On the ground floor, guests will find a spacious communal living room with sofa bed and fireplace. Further inside is a fully equipped open-plan kitchen with dining area, providing plenty of space for everyone to enjoy meals together, as well as a bedroom with two single beds. A bathroom is located next to the bedroom. A wooden staircase leads from the living room to the first floor, where there is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The bedroom also has a separate entrance via an external stone staircase leading directly into the garden. The villa is equipped with a laundry room, dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, hairdryer, telephone, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and heating.

Outdoor Areas

Borgo Santo Stefano is surrounded by a beautiful garden designed for complete relaxation. At the heart of the property lies the large swimming pool, creating a wonderful gathering place for guests.

The garden also features a large stone barbecue area available for guests to use, perfect for preparing delicious Italian meals outdoors.

The villa also includes a garage with space for three vehicles.

Just 7 km away is the charming village of Castiglion Fiorentino, known for its annual festivals and important Etruscan archaeological sites. Thanks to Borgo Santo Stefano's excellent location, guests can also easily explore the neighbouring region of Umbria and discover its historic medieval towns.

Borgo Santo Stefano is ideal for families and groups who want to holiday together while still having the option to enjoy privacy and separate spaces.

Experiences and Activities

The villa is owned by the Buccelletti family, who also run a large estate producing organic wine and olive oil, as well as hosting weddings and private events. The activities are managed from the original family villa located just outside Castiglion Fiorentino, with the family's passionate women leading the entire operation.

The vineyard is located approximately 3 km from Borgo Santo Stefano.
