Large villa located in a beautiful old village

Villa Borgo Gaggioleto has room for 28 persons, divided into 13 bedrooms and 14 bathrooms.

Borgo Gaggioleto is located on the east side of the Valley di Chio on a hill 400 meters above sea level. The villas have been carefully restored which are located a bit in the old village dating back to the 12th century. The restoration was carried out to respect the original architecture and to preserve the rustic charm of the villas. The village of Gaggioleto consists of two independent villas Il Fienile and La Capana and a large villa which is divided into two units with separate entrance La Casa Rosa, as well as an old small palace consisting of two units La Palazzina. These are rented out as a whole villa for 28 people.

Casa Rosa was an old manor house dating back to the Middle Ages, which now consists of a ground floor and a first floor with separate entrances. On the ground floor we find a kitchen with pantry, a large living room with fireplace, three bedrooms, one with double bed and en-suite bathroom and one with two single beds with private bathroom, on the ground floor you have access to a small private garden where is barbecue and table for six people. The first floor accessed outside, here you are first greeted by a small terrace, you go inside there is a large common living room, a well equipped kitchen and three bedrooms where one is with double bed and en-suite bathroom, a bedroom with two single beds and the last is a double bedroom.

La Palazzina is a historic building dating back to the 19th century where the first unit is located on the ground floor, which consists of a well-equipped kitchen and a common room smat a double bedroom and en suite bathroom, from the ground floor there is access to common areas. If we move on to the first floor and the second floor, we are greeted by a common room which is accessed via the internal stone stairs. On the first floor there is a well-equipped kitchen, a dining room with ample space, a large living room with sofa bed and a bathroom. On the second floor there are two bedrooms where one is with double bed and en-suite bathroom and the other is with double bed or if you want it two single beds with en-suite bathroom.

La Capanna was once a warehouse for agricultural equipment, now it is a small detached two-storey gem. On the ground floor you are greeted by a living room with fireplace and an open well-equipped kitchen area, we continue from here there is a double bedroom and en-suite bathroom (wheelchair accessible). Moving up to the first floor is the double bedroom and en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. La Capanna is surrounded by a small garden with barbecue and table with seating for four people.

Il Fienile was an old barn which has been converted into a self-contained villa with two floors, with a beautiful private garden and covered outdoor area with barbecue and table for six people. On the ground floor you will find a well-equipped kitchen with fireplace and wood stove, a living room with sofa bed and a bathroom, to access the first floor you have to go up the wooden stairs in the living room on the first floor there are two double bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms.

All places are equipped with TV, laundry room, dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, hair dryer, telephone, Wifi, heating and air conditioning.

Outside there is a large pool area in an olive grove which offers an unforgettable view of the town of Castiglion Fiorentino. The large area offers a large pool of 14 x 7 meters and a hydro-spa bath that seats eight people. The villas are surrounded by a large green area which provides access to hiking trails in the beautiful Tuscan countryside. Not far away is the town of Castiglion Fiorentino which is famous for its annual festivals and Etruscan archeological site, with the location of the villas there is ample opportunity to visit Umbria on its tour.
