The history of the estate

The pink-colored building dates back to the 1880s and was originally used for pasta production. After many years as a production site, the current restoration began after World War II under the leadership of the present owner, Mauro, who is the grandson of Mariotti, a merchant and an important pasta producer. The name Antico Pastificio means "the old pasta factory," and the history is clearly felt throughout the place.

The holiday apartments

The estate represents traditional Tuscan style, with terracotta floors, vaulted ceilings, and exposed beams carefully preserved. All apartments have bedrooms, kitchens, and bathrooms, with access to an outdoor area near the property.

Not all of the 2- and 3-bedroom apartments have air conditioning, as the thick walls keep the apartments cool even in the summer. All 4-bedroom apartments are equipped with air conditioning.

Location

The location near the center of Greve is truly unique – the house is surrounded by a lovely green garden with a beautiful pool (9 x 5 m, 1.40 – 2 m deep) and a vineyard. If you seek more nature, you’re just minutes away from the countryside, where you can enjoy hiking, cycling, or horseback riding. There are marked trails around Greve, and there is parking behind the house near the vineyard. The estate also features a covered terrace, a barbecue, hammocks, and a children’s playground.
