This was originally a farmhouse from the 800-century.Today it is converted into a nice and charming hotel and apartment building with an incredibly beautiful location in a scenic area in southern Tuscany.

There are 35 km to the beach and many excursion possibilities such as Maremma Natural Park, the famous Saturnia Terme with 37 degrees warm sulfuric water and urban Pitigliano, Sovana, Roselle and Montemerano.

At Antico Casale di Scansano you can enjoy meals in the restaurant serving good, local Tuscany food with excellent wines. There is a breakfast and lunch restaurant too. 

The swimming pool 15 x 7,5 m (140 cm deep) with whirlpool and waterfall is situated in the garden with a wonderful view over the area. Beside it is a children's pool (60 cm deep) and playground. You can also enjoy a jacuzzi for 7 people. Here you sit in the beautiful bubbles under a pergola.

Additionally there is horseback riding and trails in the woods for running and cycling. At Antico Casale di Scansano you can combine cultural experiences with wellness, as there is a professional department with indoor spa treatments (fees apply - only for adults).

Local Living has chosen to rent the apartments that belong to Antico Casle di Scansano, which is newly built and decorated with modern furniture. They are located approx. 200 meters from the hotel reception. Each apartment has a terrace in front of the apartment.
