A dear place for nature lovers

Agriturismo Odina is located in Eastern Tuscany - in Valdarno Arentino valley - between Arezzo and Florence. It is a small, well-restored country house in harmony with the landscape and nature. Odina consists of 4 apartments and a villa of very high quality - all with their own terraces. 

The estate dates back to 1000 and was the residence of the farmers who worked at the nearby castle, Castello del Coccolo.

Today Odina consists of a main building, associated buildings with apartments and the villa, a church and a wonderful garden. The country house is truly a feast for the eyes and in general for all the senses, which is to be experienced on the entire site, but especially in the big spice garden which is the owners' passion. There is also a large vegetable garden with seasonal vegetables, and here you can pick your own choice of produce that is all organic. You can even explore the spice garden where you can taste and pick herbs for the evening meal.

The pool (7 x 15 m - 150 cm depth) is situated with stunning views of the countryside, and here you can enjoy the sunset above the hills below. The country house is situated 650 meter above sea level. 

The owners of Odina have created a country house, which is environmental friendly in all aspects. Ecological building materials, bio-architectural methods and renewable energy are walking hand in hand. The construction method ensures that there is no need for air condtion. At the reception you can buy organic olive oil, wine, honey, jam and bulbs. Odina specializes in iris and rose cultivation, and they can be purchased year round. You can also order fresh bread for delivery next morning or order their breakfast buffet and eat outside in the summer.

There is no television on site but internet access for free.

You arrive in  less than 1 hour to respectively Arezzo and Florence from Odina. The area hosts some small, quaint towns like Loro Ciuffena which is a cozy medieval town with splendid city walls, narrow streets, little shops, restaurants and shopping. You can also choose to visit La Ferreia, which is a country house with restaurant on the outskirts of Loro Chiuffena. Here you eat well.

You can borrow bicycles to explore the trails around Odina. During your stay (on Tuesdays) there is an Herbs tour & dinner which is a walking tour in the garden. Jointly you pick herbs for the dinner that you eventually participate in preparing (tour and dinner is free of charge). Closest village with restaurants and food shopping is Odina (5 km)

The last 500 meters up to the country house is on the dirt track.

The site is suitable for a dream wedding or another big party- here you find the perfect setting; beautiful surroundings and welcoming owners . If you book the entire property there is accommodation for 24 to 30 guests.

Cook at home. Prices from approximately 50 euros per person. To be pre-booked. 

Cooking School - learn how to make Tuscan food and enjoy the dinner. Prices from approximately 60 to 80 euros per person. Book prior to arrival.

Massage - all types of massage. Indoor and outdoor. Approximately 55 euros per hour. Booking latest 1 week prior to the event.
