Welcome to Villa La Cerbaina, a charming Tuscan country house located in a wine region and owned by a vineyard. Here, you are surrounded by the gentle hills of Tuscany with a breathtaking panoramic view. You can enjoy the peace and the stunning nature, while being close to historic towns such as Volterra and Montecatini Val di Cecina.
Villa La Cerbaina is ideal for both families and groups, offering plenty of space with its beautifully restored home and large outdoor areas. With five bedrooms and five bathrooms, the villa is perfect for up to 10 people, allowing you to relax and create memories together.
The villa's outdoor area
When you step into the garden, you are greeted by a lawn and a relaxing lounge area where you can enjoy the view. The private swimming pool (6 x 12 m, 1.40 m deep) is open from April to October and is equipped with sunbeds, an outdoor shower, and a welcoming lounge area with sofas – perfect for those warm days when you just want to relax.
Under the pergola, you can gather around the dining table, which seats 10 people, and enjoy meals with the wonderful view as a backdrop. If you want to read a book in peace, there is a terrace with chairs and a small table – also an ideal spot to admire the surrounding landscape.
Additionally, there is a built-in grill, hot tub, foosball table, and a fitness area in the garden. There is a a soccer field and a volleyball court 30 meters from the villa
Interior of the villa
Villa La Cerbaina, with a total area of 250 m², spans two floors and is furnished with a mix of rustic charm, quirky furniture and lamps, as well as modern amenities. On the ground floor, you'll find a large, bright living room where you can relax by the fireplace or lounge on the sofa. The living room is also equipped with a piano for those of you who want to play some music. There is a spacious dining room with a large table that can also be converted into a billiard table, and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious meals, including a dishwasher, oven, stove, and large refrigerator. There is direct access from the kitchen to the terrace, making it easy to dine outdoors.
On the ground floor, there is a large double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a sensory shower, two additional double bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower, and a guest toilet. On the first floor, you will find two large suites with double beds, a fireplace, satellite TV, and access to a private terrace – an ideal place to enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. All bedrooms and common areas are equipped with air conditioning.
Bring extra experiences home from your holiday
If you stay in this beautiful villa, you can bring home some extra experiences. Here you have the chance to invite a private chef to the villa who will prepare meals for you. All you have to do is sit down at the table and enjoy each other and the food. It can be anything from breakfast, lunch, or dinner that the chef can help with. If you prefer to spend all your time by the pool and not drive around for errands, the owners can also help with grocery shopping. Some guests even arrange shopping before their arrival, so that a few essentials are ready for them and breakfast is easy the next morning.
Cooking classes are something many guests ask for, and here the whole family can join in preparing meals together with a chef. From our experience, it creates plenty of wonderful memories.

The area
Villa La Cerbaina is perfectly located 2 km from the charming medieval village of Montecatini Val di Cecina, which offers shops, restaurants, and a bank. If you want to explore the area further, Volterra is just 14 km away, a famous Etruscan city with a rich history. For music lovers, there is Teatro del Silenzio in Lajatico, just 21 km away, where Andrea Bocelli holds a spectacular annual concert event.
The villa is also reasonably close to the coast, with the nearest beaches located in Cecina (30 km), Vada (35 km), and Marina di Bibbona (38 km). If you're into golf, Castelfalfi Golf Club is only 37 km from the villa.
