The interior of the villa

Villa Ombrone is a former stable building that has been carefully transformed into a stylish and comfortable villa. The owners have paid close attention to detail, combining modern solutions with selected vintage elements such as furnishings and exposed stone, all of which give the villa its unique character.

The villa is set across two floors, with living areas on the ground floor and the sleeping area on the first floor. On the ground floor, you will find a living room with a fireplace and direct access to the garden. There is also a fitness area with a sauna, offering space for both activity, relaxation, and well-being.

On the first floor, the kitchen and dining area are combined in one open space with access to the terrace. The kitchen is well equipped, and there is plenty of room to gather around meals, both when preparing and enjoying them.

In addition, there are three bedrooms, all with double beds and en suite bathrooms. This makes the villa ideal for both family holidays and groups of friends traveling together who would like a bit of privacy while still spending time together. The villa also includes a small office area if you need to work during your stay.

Outdoor area

From the villa’s terraces and garden, you have beautiful views over the Ombrone Valley, where the landscape stretches in soft lines as far as the eye can see. There is a sense of space, fresh air, and being far away from everyday life.

The garden and terrace offer several seating areas, allowing you to choose between sun and shade throughout the day. The pool is highly inviting, and the owners have thoughtfully included a shallow “beach area,” making it especially suitable for children.

In addition to tables and chairs, the terrace also features an outdoor kitchen, perfect for preparing meals, perhaps on the barbecue. This is a place made for gathering over long dinners while the sun sets over the landscape.

Villa Ombrone is located in southern Tuscany in the Maremma region, where the landscape is more rugged and the pace of life slower than in the classic tourist areas. Here, you will find space, openness, and a strong sense of authentic Tuscany.

You are only 15 km from Grosseto, where you will find restaurants, shops, and local life. It is the perfect place to do your shopping, take a stroll through town, or enjoy dinner at one of the local restaurants.

One of the area’s most special experiences is the natural hot springs at Saturnia, located about an hour’s drive from the villa. Here, you can bathe in the iconic white limestone pools filled with warm, mineral-rich water – an experience many travel far to enjoy. During the summer months (June, July, and August), the area can be quite busy, so some patience is required. However, it is a beautiful and memorable experience. Visiting outside peak season means fewer people, and bathing in the warm springs on cooler days can be especially refreshing.

You can also visit Parco della Maremma, located within easy reach, where you can explore nature on foot or by bike, with the chance to see wildlife and enjoy the open landscapes.

If you wish to go to the sea, the beaches at Principina a Mare are about 30 minutes away. Here, you will find wide sandy beaches, and at times it is still possible to find space, even during high season.
