Villa interior

Villa Ginestra is the sweetest little house, painted in a warm cream colour with red shutters, welcoming you from the outside with plenty of Sicilian charm. Inside, the cosy atmosphere continues, with small colourful details that give the villa personality and create a warm and inviting feeling.

When you enter the villa, you step directly into the living area, where you will find a dining area, sofas and a kitchen equipped with an oven, hob and fridge with freezer. From here, a ladder leads up to the loft, where there is a French bed (140–160 cm wide), intended for the 5th and 6th guests.

If you prefer not to use the ladder to the loft, you can open the door from the living area and continue to the villa’s two bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed, while the other has two single beds. This is also where you will find the villa’s bathroom with shower.

Villa outdoor area

The outdoor area of Villa Ginestra is truly something special. The beautiful garden, lush greenery and breathtaking views create an almost magical atmosphere – and that is without even mentioning the impressive Sicilian horizon that accompanies you throughout your stay.

The villa is beautifully surrounded by palm trees, bushes and other greenery, which provide shade on warm days while still being carefully positioned so you can enjoy the magnificent views.

There are two covered terraces where you can sit and enjoy the surroundings while having a lovely dinner, playing games or simply relaxing with a glass of wine while admiring the beautiful landscape.

Close to the villa, you will find the private swimming pool (6 x 3 metres / 1.4 metres deep), which features a jacuzzi at one end. Around the pool there are sun loungers and parasols, allowing you to enjoy the sunshine or find some shade when the heat becomes too intense.

The Local Area

Although Villa Ginestra certainly invites you to spend many relaxing hours enjoying its beautiful surroundings, Sicily also offers plenty of experiences waiting to be discovered.

You are only around 200 metres from the nearest beach, making it easy to swap the pool for a refreshing swim in the Mediterranean whenever you feel like it. The villa is also located close to Scopello, a historic and charming village with cosy restaurants, bars and small shops.

You can also explore the beautiful Zingaro Nature Reserve or take a trip to the ancient medieval town of Erice, both of which are within a short driving distance.

The nearest supermarket is approximately 3 km away, and the closest restaurant and bar can be reached in around a 10-minute walk.

Villa Ginestra is a wonderful holiday home with breathtaking views, a lush garden, two lovely terraces and a unique Sicilian charm. It is the perfect choice for families travelling together across generations or for groups of friends who wish to explore Sicily while staying in some of the island’s most beautiful surroundings.

*The 5th and 6th guests sleep on the French bed in the loft. This costs €200 per week or €40 per day and is paid directly to the owners upon arrival.
