Villa Calamare accommodates 10 guests across 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. The villa is set directly by the sea in Caponegro Bay near Avola, on the southern coast of Sicily. Here you will find a modern and elegant single-level villa where natural light and sea views are part of the experience. Every detail has been designed for comfort, peace and simple luxury – ideal for families and friends traveling together.

Outdoor area

This beautiful and inviting villa sits on a private plot with panoramic sea views. The 11 x 4 meter pool is surrounded by a wooden deck, sun loungers and parasols, while the small 400 m² garden provides both space and privacy. It’s the perfect place to enjoy the view and watch the colors shift across the sea as the sun moves.

From the pool area, a path leads down to the cliffs and further on to a small cove about 150 meters away. The cove can be reached by a staircase carved into the rock, where you can swim in crystal-clear water and enjoy the wild coastal landscape.

Outside the living room, a covered pergola offers a dining table and lounge area – an ideal spot for relaxed meals in the shade with views of the sea.

Interior of the villa

Calamare is newly built and all on one level. Each of the five bedrooms has its own entrance from the exterior walkway, along with a private bathroom and small patio, creating a special sense of independence and privacy for everyone staying in the villa – whether traveling as several couples or one large family.

The bright, open living area features large windows facing the sea, a comfortable lounge, and a modern kitchen equipped with oven, dishwasher, freezer, coffee machine and all the essentials for easy holiday cooking.

The villa also includes air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a washing machine and two hours of daily cleaning service.

Experiences in the area

Villa Calamare is conveniently located close to both beach and town. The nearest beach is just 150 meters away, while the sandy beach at Contrada Gallina can be reached within minutes by car. The town of Avola, with its restaurants, markets and shops, lies 5 km away, and Noto – famous for its baroque architecture – can be reached in about 20 minutes.

The surrounding area offers excellent opportunities for swimming, snorkeling, local dining and excursions to Siracusa.
