The villa is beautifully set in the hills of Mugello, north of Florence, where you are surrounded by nature, tranquility, and the distinctive Tuscan atmosphere of vineyards, olive groves, and open landscapes.

The interior of the villa

La Morella is a traditional stone villa that has been carefully renovated with respect for its original features. Here, you will find wooden beams, vaulted ceilings, and a warm, authentic atmosphere that gives you a true sense of Tuscany.

The villa is set across two levels. On the ground floor, you will find a large and functional kitchen in a rustic style, yet fully equipped with everything you need. The kitchen features a fireplace and offers plenty of space to gather while cooking, as well as for enjoying meals together. In addition, there is a dining room and a spacious living room with sofas and direct access to the garden. A bathroom and a laundry room are also located on this floor.

On the first floor, you will find the villa’s five bedrooms, all with double beds. There are also three bathrooms to be shared. The interior is simple and calm, with a focus on comfort while still respecting the villa’s history. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, ensuring a pleasant temperature even on warm summer days.

Outdoor area

The garden surrounding the villa is fenced and spans 1,100 sqm, offering plenty of space for both relaxation and time together. In the garden, you will also find several cozy corners where you can enjoy both sun and shade throughout the day.

The pool is centrally located in the garden and invites you to spend long, relaxing days while enjoying views of the surrounding hills. There are sun loungers and plenty of space to enjoy outdoor living.

The covered terrace quickly becomes a natural gathering point, where you can enjoy meals under the open sky. It is the perfect setting for long dinners with local ingredients as the evening gently unfolds.

La Morella is located in the Mugello area, a somewhat overlooked gem in Tuscany. The region offers beautiful nature and fewer tourists than the more well-known areas, making it possible to enjoy a more authentic experience while still being close to some of Tuscany’s most famous destinations.

The nearest town, Borgo San Lorenzo, is just a few kilometers from the villa. Here, you will find supermarkets, restaurants, and everyday local life.
