Very inviting villa in the mountains high in Tuscany - but still close to famous sightseeing

Villa La Maison de Vevette accommodates up to 10 guests in 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.

La Maison de Vevette is a beautifully restored villa dating back to the mid-19th century.

The villa originally belonged to the grandparents of the current owners and was named after Vevette, their grandmother of French origin. The owners decided to renovate the property and transform it into a wonderful holiday home, and they have certainly succeeded.

The layout of the villa

The house is divided into suites on the ground floor and a spacious apartment on the first floor, making the villa ideal for families or groups of friends.

There is a shared living room on the ground floor and a shared kitchen and dining room on the first floor, with access to a terrace featuring an outdoor dining area.

Ground floor:

La Posta consists of a double bedroom, a bathroom and a small kitchenette.

Il Gioco consists of a bedroom, a bathroom, a living room with a sofa bed, a kitchenette and a covered veranda.

La Posta and Il Gioco can be connected via the main entrance to the house.

There is also a shared living room with sofa beds and a Smart TV with internet access.

La Cucina consists of a bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchenette and a private covered veranda.

First floor:

The first floor offers two bedrooms, one with a French double bed and one with a standard double bed, together with two bathrooms. Both bedrooms have direct access to the garden and the swimming pool.

There is also a kitchen and dining area with seating for up to 10–12 guests and a fireplace.

The villa's outdoor area

Outside you will find a private terrace with beautiful views and an outdoor dining area.

Surrounding the villa is a large garden, carefully maintained and landscaped with typical Mediterranean plants. In the upper part of the garden there is a large swimming pool measuring 14 x 4.5 metres with a depth of 1.40 metres. It is the perfect place to cool off, relax and enjoy a good book.

Near the swimming pool there is also a comfortable lounge area with sofas.

The surrounding area

Within walking distance of the villa, the owners offer wine tastings and the opportunity to enjoy dinner with them.

When staying here, a visit to the Cinque Terre is highly recommended. You can, for example, park your car in La Spezia and continue by train or boat into the national park, which is famous for its picturesque villages and scenic walking trails connecting the five villages.

You will also be close to the famous marble quarries of Massa and within easy reach of the seaside resorts of Riomaggiore and Forte dei Marmi.

The villa is located in a small village in the Lunigiana region in north-western Tuscany, close to the border with Emilia-Romagna. The area is surrounded by mountains and offers excellent opportunities to experience nature at close hand, whether on foot or by bicycle.
