Casetta del Glicine is a simple and charming stone villa, located in a peaceful area on a hill with fantastic views over a beautiful landscape. This typical Tuscan villa is the perfect choice for those seeking relaxation, communal dining, and long, lazy days by the pool. Ideal for 2 families traveling together.

Villa description

The villa, spread over 2 levels, features a tiny but well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, refrigerator, and stove. There is also a spacious dining area and three bedrooms: two double rooms and a large family room with a double bed and bunk beds, along with 2 bathrooms. All rooms are air-conditioned.
From the dining room, you have direct access to a lovely, covered terrace, perfect for shared meals and relaxing moments in privacy and peace. Casetta del Glicine means "The House with Wisteria," and the cozy atmosphere is enhanced by wisteria growing up the pergola on the terrace.

Outdoor area

In the garden with silver-gray olive trees and terraced areas, you'll find a 6 x 3 m pool (110 cm deep), where you can enjoy breathtaking views over Valdichiana and Cortona. The pool is quite special, as it is not dug into the ground, but surrounded by a raised, illuminated wooden terrace, making it easy and comfortable to swim. The wooden deck offers space for sun loungers.
You can also look forward to spectacular sunsets as the day fades. The warm evening sun casts a magical light over the landscape, and from the pool area, you can enjoy stunning views over the rolling hills and Cortona.
The house is surrounded by typical Tuscan nature on several sides, with the neighboring villa being another one of Local Living's rental properties, La Noce.

Casetta del Glicine is close to Cortona's historic center and the art cities of Tuscany and Umbria. Here, you can have a holiday that combines relaxation, culture, and gastronomy. Restaurants in Cortona (approx. 4 km) and grocery stores in Camucia (approx. 4.5 km) are easily accessible.

The price for Casetta del Glicine included

Gas, water, electricity, WiFi, towels, and bed linen.

 

Waste sorting is important in Italy and must be done correctly, just like in Denmark. If you are unsure how to sort the waste, please ask the owners.

 

Pool season

The pool is open from May to September.

 

To be paid locally and directly to the owners

Deposit: 500 euro (cash). Refunded upon departure.

Final cleaning: 150 euro (cash).

Heating: on consumption.

Air conditioning: on consumption.

Late arrival fee: 80 euro for arrivals between 20:00 - 24:00. Arrival after 24:00 is not possible, and check-in will take place the following day.

 

Pets are allowed on request.


NB – Tourist tax:

A small tourist tax applies and must be paid directly upon arrival.
