The villa’s outdoor area

Casa Dell’Ida is a beautifully restored stone house of around 120 m², located in the rolling hills at the heart of Chianti – an ideal base for exploring authentic Tuscany. The villa is surrounded by vineyards, olive trees and the scent of cypresses, just 2 km from the charming village of Castellina in Chianti, where you will find cosy cafés, small shops and excellent restaurants.

The villa features several terraces and outdoor areas inviting you to enjoy the Tuscan sun and the stunning views. There are tables, chairs, sun loungers and umbrellas, allowing you to dine, relax and take in the peaceful surroundings from both the covered terrace and the garden. Behind the villa lies a spacious garden of about 1,000 m² with a barbecue and pizza oven, while in front you will find a large fenced swimming pool (14 x 6 m, depth 1.2–2.2 m). The pool is only occasionally shared with guests from a nearby villa, so you will usually have the area entirely to yourselves.

Inside the villa

Inside, Casa Dell’Ida is spread over two floors connected internally, with access to the garden from both levels. On the lower floor, there is a cosy living and dining area with a fireplace, satellite TV and dining table, a small kitchen, a bathroom with shower, and an open mezzanine with a double bed. From here, you also have access to a laundry room with washing machine and ironing facilities.

On the upper floor, you will find another living room with a dining area and a well-equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed, and a bathroom with shower. The entire house is air-conditioned, ensuring a comfortable stay all year round.

Casa Dell’Ida is just a short walk from the nearest bus stop, about 200 m away, and only a few minutes’ drive from Castellina in Chianti. From the villa, you can easily take day trips to some of Tuscany’s most famous towns, such as Siena, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni and Florence. The surrounding area is filled with vineyards, local farms and historic villages, perfect for wine tasting, cycling and enjoying delicious meals under the open sky.
