Drive Self<\/h1>\n

The Drive Self package includes:<\/p>\n

– 7 or 14 days stay at a Local Living coutnry house or Villa.<\/p>\n

– a driving instruction to your Local Living destination<\/p>\n

You sort out the transport to your destination point yourself. Easy and flexible.<\/p>\n

You can also choose to book Fly Self. As you should arrive on a Saturday, it may be a\u00a0good idea to get to the rental agency before siesta, so the agencies\u00a0are still\u00a0open.<\/p>\n

Things to remember:<\/h2>\n

Remember that you may not drive in the centre of Florence, Sienne and Pisa etc.\u00a0as they are environmental zones where you need special permission to drive. It is possible to be fined for driving in these zones. You may also be fined for parking outside of the marked area, as well as for unneccessary inconvenience for\u00a0other drivers, driving without seatbelt, driving whilst talking on your phone. Blood alcohol limit\u00a00,5\u00a0\u2030<\/p>\n

\"\"Good news for all Drive Self guests<\/p>\n

The Autobahn will be significantly more quiet for all who are driving to their destination.<\/p>\n

Between the 1st of July and 31st of August there will be a ban of trucks over 7.5 tons from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.<\/p>\n

Often the pressure from the holiday traffic is the deciding factor. The previously mentioned ban also incorporates sundays between midnight and 10 p.m.<\/p>\n

Some dispensation have been given, for example for the transport of fresh groceries.<\/p>\n
